Hello dear ones, I am Carla, I am 28 years old and starting an Internship at a design studio at the Rotterdam harbour. For now it’s planned that I will stay until the 1st of march but I might stay longer if the city wins me over! ((-: 
I am an industrial designer - currently I am working at a studio in Weimar in Germany but it was always my dream to collect some experience in NL, so I randomly decided to just do that haha. I’ll work 40h per week :-( but I am also looking forward to getting to know the city and the people and I appreciate a pleasant and harmonious atmosphere in the apartment, where you can feel like home. So far I’ve always had friendships with my roomies and I like to cook together or watch a show together (especially in cozy wintertime!) Na een tijdje fulltime te hebben gewerkt (en een jaar in Kopenhagen te hebben gewoond), heb ik enorm veel zin om het studentenleven weer op te pakken. Design en architectuur spelen natuurlijk een grote rol in mijn leven, maar als ik niet aan het schetsen ben, maak ik meestal muziek (met koptelefoon, dus niemand zal er last van hebben :) ), ben ik aan het schilderen of doe ik aan sport. Ik ben op dit moment ook Nederlands aan het leren. Als huisgenoot ben ik relaxed, netjes en makkelijk in de omgang. Ik hou ervan om de gemeenschappelijke ruimtes opgeruimd te houden en geniet van een gezellige sfeer in huis - of dat nu een snelle koffie in de ochtend is of af en toe samen koken.
