I’m Cristina, 25 years old, and I’ve been living in Amsterdamfor a while now. I work full-time in digital marketing as a team lead at an agency, and besides that I also run my own jewelry art studio at Treehouse NDSM. Most of my free time somehow ends up in the studio making jewelry or metal sculptures, which I genuinely love. I’d say I’m a very open-minded, friendly, and easygoing person. I like having a warm and comfortable home atmosphere, where everyone feels relaxed and at ease. Outside of work, I’m into cooking, dinners with friends, jazz music, and all the small cozy things that make a place feel like home. I’m also a very tidy person and I genuinely like cleanliness — to the point where I actually clean when I’m stressed, which I guess is not the worst coping mechanism to have 😅 I’m respectful of shared spaces and pretty mindful of the people I live with. At the moment I’m living with two guys already, so I’m very used to shared living and different personalities around the house. I’m social and happy to chat from time to time, but I also really respect personal space and everyone having their own routine.

Hoi! Ik ben Daniel (27), oorspronkelijk uit Duitsland, en vanaf oktober begin ik als fulltime onderzoeksmedewerker aan de TU Delft, waar ik onderzoek doe binnen de sociologie van klimaatfinanciering. Mijn contract is voor één jaar, maar het kan uitgroeien tot een promotietraject. Voor nu kijk ik vooral of een carrière in de wetenschap bij mij past. Ik heb net mijn studie in Londen afgerond en kijk er erg naar uit om aan mijn eerste "echte" baan te beginnen. Een kleine waarschuwing: ik spreek nog geen Nederlands (alleen Duits, Engels en een beetje Spaans), maar ik ben zeker van plan om het te leren. Ik ben een ontspannen en gezellige huisgenoot, kook graag (meestal vegetarisch) en ben makkelijk om mee samen te wonen. Ik woon al jaren in gedeelde huizen en vind dat nog steeds erg leuk. My contract is for one year, but it could turn into a PhD. For now, I am just testing the waters of trying to be a scientist. I’ve just finished my studies in London, and I’m really excited to begin my first “real” job. A small heads-up: I don’t speak Dutch yet (only German, English and Spanish-ish), but learning it is the plan. I’m easygoing, love to cook (mostly veggie) and generally uncomplicated to live with.
