I'm currently working part-time and actively interviewing for a full-time role in my field, so I have a stable income now and a full-time position on the horizon. I'm searching in two ways: for a single room for myself, or — even better — for an apartment to share with two close friends. We've already agreed to move in together, and both of them already hold stable, permanent employment contracts, so for a 2–3 bedroom place we're a ready-made and financially solid group of tenants. As a housemate and tenant I'm tidy and quiet, and I treat shared spaces and house rules with respect. I'm a non-smoker, I keep regular hours, and I'm the type who washes up the same evening rather than "tomorrow." I'm easy-going and sociable, and I genuinely enjoy cooking (Italian, naturally), so housemates rarely complain. On guarantees: my father is available as a guarantor, I can provide proof of income and employment, and I'm able to prepay several months of rent in advance if that helps. Ik ben makkelijk in de omgang en sociaal, en ik kook graag (Italiaans, uiteraard), dus huisgenoten klagen zelden. Wat betreft garanties: mijn vader kan optreden als garantsteller, ik kan bewijs van inkomen en werk aanleveren, en ik kan indien gewenst meerdere maanden huur vooruitbetalen. Hoi! Ik ben Thijmen, 23 jaar en heb gestudeerd in Groningen, waar ik een geweldige studententijd heb gehad. Ik heb inmiddels mijn bachelor Biologie en mijn master Energy & Environmental Sciences gehaald, maar ik ben nog niet helemaal uitgestudeerd. Tegelijkertijd vind ik het ook helemaal prima als iedereen lekker zijn eigen gang gaat en waardeer ik mijn persoonlijke ruimte als ik even rustig aan wil doen. In mijn vrije tijd vermaak ik me altijd wel. Ik speel graag wat op mijn gitaar, hou op m'n tijd van wat gamen en ga regelmatig een rondje hardlopen (met als doel de halve marathon). Daarnaast ben ik nu nog elk weekend actief als leiding bij een scoutingvereniging in Groningen. Zodra ik in Enschede gesetteld ben, ben ik zeker van plan om daar in de buurt ook weer zoiets op te pakken. Ook ben ik graag met mijn vrienden. We plannen regelmatig speciaalbier avondjes, een whiskey proeverij of een leuke, actieve activiteit, zoals padellen. Ik zoek dus een gezellig huis met een mooie balans tussen samen dingen ondernemen en elkaars rust respecteren.
