Looking for a room while i find a place to rent on my own. I do not work from home, my job is physical. I am a private, clean person.

I am renting out some space from my apartment. Since I also will stay in the apartment I will be your host (not a student), and as we may spend some time in the same apartment it may be a good idea to share some info about myself. I am broadly interested. I consider myself a social person. I like to be in contact with other people from all kinds of origin and like to talk about all kinds of subjects. I am an alpha as well as a beta person, I am into technical stuff as well as into languages. I do a lot of fitness at home. I have done all kinds of interesting things mostly on the area of IT, but have stopped working on a fixed position for a while now. I am not the type working with a fixed agenda, I eat when I want, sleep when I want, go out where and when I want, but I am quite punctial with my appointments and rules. Also I keep all my business in good order. I am rather experienced with renting to expats, young foreigners and Dutch people, though not in the house where I live myself, so this is new to me, but I am open to new things.

I will be moving to Groningen to study Human Geography and Planning (starting 1.9.2024). Currently I live in Hannover, Germany and work as a software developer in a small company. I would like to live in a shared flat to get to know the culture and of course the language. It would be great if the flat was within biking distance from the university, but more importantly it should have a good atmosphere and nice flatmates. I have been living in shared flats for the last 8 years, so let's say I have some experience in living with people.

Hello, my name is Jay and I'm a 27 years old Jazz musician from Vitoria-Gasteiz in the north of Spain. This last few years I've been studying Jazz Guitar in the Conservatoire of Pamplona, Spain from which I've just graduated and also working as a guitar teacher in different places. My idea for the future is to find an affordable room/home in Amsterdam and apply for the Conservatorium van Amsterdam for the next term as I visited a couple of months back and I fell in love with the place and the music scene which I must say it's truly captivating. Personally, I'm a peaceful person, I spend most of time studying music or practicing in my room (I use headphones to practice, I don't want to bother anyone with my music), I'm not really a party person, I enjoy my peace and quiet and I love to read or go watch art/paintings in a museum...I also like to keep the house tidy, I've shared a house before with flat-mates and we used to have like a cleaning schedule that worked well just so everyone enjoy their time and have space to do their own thing in peace. Momenteel ben ik op zoek naar een nieuwe woning in Leeuwarden, en hier is waarom: Mijn werk, school, sportschool en vrienden bevinden zich allemaal in Leeuwarden. Ondanks het feit dat mijn auto recentelijk het loodje heeft gelegd, vind ik het eigenlijk voordeliger om in Leeuwarden te wonen dan om een nieuwe auto te kopen. Ik ben een betrouwbare huurder, netjes en verantwoordelijk. Ik geniet ervan om mijn ruimte opgeruimd en gezellig te houden. zoek gewoon een plekje om tot rust te komen!

Hi there! I am Alina, moved to Amsterdam just a couple weeks ago from Berlin. I am currently renting a room in a shared flat in the south of Amstelveen. Unfortunately it is too far for me to stay there longterm. I cycle everywhere and go to the office 5 days/week (close to Amstel station), so it's just not going to work longterm.
