Let me tell a bit more about myself: I was born and raised in the Netherlands and have studied business and innovation in Groningen and Newcastle. I love to travel and go on outdoor adventures. Last year I went hiking for 3 weeks in the Annapurna region in Nepal, this was amazing and I can really recommend it. Next to that I like to do rock climbing and am currently training for a mountain marathon. Now I may seem like someone who can't sit still or whatever but I am a actually a very calm housemate who likes to chill, experiment with cooking, listen to all sorts of music ranging from jazz to hip-hop and from indie to techno (I'll bring my hi-fi set, you'll love it). I'm always down for a drink/borrel and like to go to a festival or a bar every now and then! Apart from this I work full-time as a consultant in the IT-sector and like to work at home from time-to-time. Ah yea, I have a lot of plants, hopefully I can bring them! Hoi! Ik ben Matthijs en ik ben 19 jaar oud. Aankomend studiejaar ga ik beginnen aan de bachelor sociologie in Nijmegen. Ik ben veel op de hockeyclub te vinden. Zo speel ik zelf 2 keer in de week en geef ik training aan de kleintjes onder 10 jaar. In mijn vrije tijd vind ik het heel erg leuk om te koken. Voor vrienden, familie, maar ook om mezelf te verwennen (vooral met de risotto, dat is toch wel mijn favoriet). Verder vind ik het erg gezellig om regelmatig een spelletjesavond te houden en ben ik ook altijd in voor een wandelingetje. Ik zoek een gezellig, maar ook rustig studentenhuis waarin er veel contact is tussen de huisgenoten. Denk aan samen avondeten of spelletjesavonden houden. Wel zou het fijn zijn als het huis een vrijblijvend karakter heeft. Groetjes!
