Hey everyone! This is Harshit from India, and I am 21. I'm coming to Leiden University to do a Master's in Astronomy starting this fall. It is a two-year program, so I am looking for a long-term place to stay. I am a quiet and tidy person. I like to watch and play sports like football, badminton and cricket in my free time. I also like to stargaze at night. I love cooking a bit as well (but I've only cooked Indian food till now, so I would like to try different cuisines). Although I am not much of a party person, I wouldn't mind things like movie nights with my roommates. I am a vegetarian but am okay with living with someone who's not vegetarian/vegan. I don't drink/smoke and prefer to live with non-smokers. I have experience living in student hostels during my bachelor's and shared residence abroad during a short internship. I am looking for a studio or a room in an apartment shared with a maximum of 3 other roommates on a long-term contract (from late August, preferably as I'll arrive then), where I can do registration (necessary for my residence permit) in or around Leiden. My budget is around €550/month incl. (can stretch to €600 if necessary).
