Muziek is een andere grote passie. Dankzij mijn vader ben ik opgegroeid met rockmuziek, ben ik elektrische gitaar gaan spelen, en met de tijd is mijn smaak breder geworden — van progressieve rock tot rap. Op dit moment richt ik me op het opbouwen van een evenwichtig en betekenisvol leven hier in Nederland, waarin zowel mijn studie als persoonlijke ontwikkeling centraal staan.

Hoi, mijn naam is Liam, ik ben 19 jaar, en een aankomende bachelorstudent civiele techniek aan de TU Delft. Ik ben net klaar met mijn tussenjaar en nu ben ik, net als iedereen, raak er een beetje kaal van over het vinden van een kamer… Iets interessants over mezelf: ik ben een Nederlandse expat, geboren in Oman, en mijn hele leven, international in het Midden-Oosten opgegroeid. Dus bijna een internacho in vermomming. Ik heb veel gereisd naar verschillende landen, maar ik ga nog steeds elke zomer terug naar Nederland om vrienden en familie te zien. Ben er met mijn Nederlandse achtergrond ook klaar voor om eindelijk de echte Nederlandse cultuur op de juiste manier te beleven (uitgaan, borrelen, zeilen, etc) en dus kijk ik nu echt ernaar uit om te gaan studeren in Delft…de beste studentenstad van Nederland.  Tijdens mijn tussen zat ik bezig met stages lopen, als strandwacht werken en het overleven van mijn backpacking trip naar de Filipijnen en Thailand. Ik heb ook de beslissing genomen om in Delft te gaan studeren. Ik weet dat je het van iedereen zult horen, maar je zult me op mijn woord moeten geloven. Ik ben een net en respectvol persoon. Ik vind het leuk om veel nieuwe mensen te ontmoeten en dingen te organiseren, maar ik waardeer ook rust en tijd voor mezelf. Ik ben ook graag actief bezig, of het nu gaat om naar het gym of grote grasvolleybaltoernooien gaan, teamsporten zoals volleybal en voetbal spelen, skiën, kamperen in de buitenlucht, enzovoort. En hoewel ik mijn studie heel serieus neem, vind ik het altijd leuk om veel dingen samen te doen zoals naar concerten, huisfeesten en sociale avonden gaan. Over het algemeen ben ik gewoon op zoek naar een gezellig huis waar wij een hele boel lol kunnen hebben. My name is Michael, and I’m planning to rent an apartment together with my girlfriend, Anastasia. We are both from Moldova and will graduate next month from the best lyceum in our country, with final GPAs of 9.9 and 9.4 out of 10. We have both been accepted to the University of Groningen, and we also plan to work during our studies. Our parents will be supporting us with the rent. We are interested in renting the apartment starting from mid-August 2025 until June 2026. If everything goes well and we are satisfied with the accommodation, we would be happy to extend the rental period until June 2028. For the past three years, we have lived in our high school dormitory, so we already have experience with shared living. The environment was very strict — we were required to keep everything quiet and clean, and weekly inspections were carried out to ensure high standards were maintained. We would kindly like to schedule a home viewing, either in person or through a friend who is already studying in Groningen and can visit the property on our behalf.
