Hello! My name is Kiki, I'm 21 years old, I'm Czech and Bulgarian and originally from the United States. I have been living in Amsterdam for almost three years and am currently studying my bachelor's at Amsterdam University College, specializing in media and film. I'm currently looking for a new home to move into in Amsterdam because I will be studying digital media for my master's at the University of Amsterdam next semester. I am also working as a content creator intern at DokaLab, a startup that makes black and white photo printing kits, which is located in Sloterdijk. I lived in a shared apartment for a year, so I have experience having roommates and sharing a space, but currently live alone. I like to spend a lot of time to myself so I would be very happy to have a single apartment, but am also open to living in a shared apartment to have roommates and meet new people! I'm a very social person who's easy to get along with, but do most of my socializing outside and rarely have people over, which I know can be an issue with sharing an apartment. I'm therefore not really into partying or drinking at home and prefer doing calmer, quieter things. I'm also very clean and tidy, don't smoke and like to cook. Currently, in my free time, I love watching movies, photography, video editing, crocheting, scrapbooking, and doing miscellaneous activities in the center.

Hi! My name is Fanney, I’m 24 years old and moving from Iceland to Leiden to continue my Psychology studies. I’ve completed my first years of university here in Iceland and I’m now looking for a calm and comfortable place to live during my studies in the Netherlands. I have been working at FedEx Duiven for over 12 months as a parcel sorter/forklift driver. I work through a work agency and I understand that landlords are very put off by that, but I can assure you that my position is completely firm and there is virtually no chance of me getting laid off. If you have any doubts, I can explain the full work situation in detail. I intend to stay in the country and Gelderland area for a long time as I've permanently left my country of origin Lithuania. Very quiet:  no music, no partying, no loud noises. No drinking or any substances nor smoking. I prefer mostly solitary way of living with my lifestyle revolving around mindfulness, self inquiry, meditation and general focus on my health. Respectful to those around me:  while I don't speak Dutch and am not particularly social, I am polite at all times and I keep in mind the wellbeing of others. I am willing to be involved in any matters that are important for the landlord or community. Honest and transparent in all matters. I am 32 years old. No pets. I am single. I am able to provide all necessary documents. My reason for moving is that I consider home environment to be very important to my overall wellbeing. A fully independent space is a goal of mine, it would be a great improvement to my current housing conditions and open up new opportunities.

I really love art and music. Drawing is something I find easy, and I play the piano. Oh, and origami! I've gotten really good at it :-) But, what I want to do in the future is science. I love talking about all sorts of things and hearing what other people think. And I've done a lot of volunteering, which has been really cool. I'm pretty independent, and I get really excited about things that interest me. But I always try to be respectful of what other people think. And if there's a science project, I'm usually in! Hi everyone! My name's Pawel, I am 21 years old and I come from Wroclaw, Poland. I just finished my exchange at the University of Edinburgh and I will soon begin master's programmes in international law and philosophy at Leiden University. Since I left Poland at 18, I’ve lived with flatmates in Maastricht (where my home uni is), Hamburg (interned there last summer), and now in Edinburgh. I enjoy sharing meals with housemates and having spontaneous hangs together. I like to clean up immediately after eating and prefer for chores/shared purchases to be evenly distributed according to a sheet, so that the flat is kept cosy and drama averted.
