Hey! I’m Clara, a 21-year-old biomedical engineering student from Madrid, Spain. I’ll be spending the first semester of 2025-2026 in Twente for my Erasmus – it’s the 4th year of my bachelor. I’m a super energetic, sociable person who’s always up for new experiences and spontaneous plans. I’ve lived abroad during the summers (twice in Austria doing volunteer work), which gave me a love for languages, cultures, and international vibes – I speak basic German and can’t wait to learn some Dutch while I’m there! I truly believe languages are the best way to connect with people, and I love sharing my own culture too (Spanish food and music included, of course). Outside my studies, sports play a big role in my life: I’m a runner (I just finished my first half-marathon in April!), a lifelong swimmer, and dreaming of doing an Ironman 70.3 someday – step by step! I’d love to join a sports association at the university while I’m in Twente. I’m also passionate about photography, especially capturing fun moments with friends – I’m definitely the one who always brings a camera to keep the memories alive. I also love dancing, hiking, and going out. When it comes to shared living, I’m very tidy and organized. I’m looking for housemates who are cheerful, active, and social – people who love a good night out but also enjoy quality time at home, cooking together, talking, laughing, or planning little adventures. I am joining TU/e from next semester to study chemical engineering. I grew up in Frankfurt, in an international environment studying in the European School. I have Spanish and German nationalities. I am both sociable and considerate, keeping a good balance between academic results, and enjoying time with friends and family. I like sports, in particular football and skiing. We are a family of 5 and I am used to shared responsibilities. Looking forward to moving to Eindhoven soon.

Nederlands, ja dat wel maar al woonachtig in het buitenland sinds ik 8 maanden was. Veel gereisd samen met mijn broer en ouders. Ik heb eerst in Noorwegen gewoond waar ik nu voor sep'24 to mei'25 een tussen jaar heb doorgebracht om de taal weer op te pikken en outdoor ervaringen te beleven. Vanaf 2011 in het Midden-Oosten, eerst Oman en sinds 2018 in Dubai. Wie ben ik? Malou, hou wel van een biertje, natuur en reizen met hiken, bungeejumpen, klimmen. Ben netjes en rustig in het dagelijkse leven, ik lees veel en hou van muziek. Katten en honden geen bezwaar. Koken? Moet nog veel bijleren zoals de meeste beginnende studenten maar pasta carbonara of een goede red chicken curry, geen probleem.

In februari heb ik de master Nutrition and Health aan Wageningen University & Research afgerond. Per 1 april begin ik bij DSM in Wageningen als 'lead technician pilot plant fermented milk products'. Nu zoek ik een plek in deze regio!

Hi, Ik ben Tinka (17) en ik woon in Zwolle (2,5 uur met de trein naar Delft). Op dit moment doe ik mijn VWO-examen en na de zomer start ik in Delft (TU Bouwkunde). Ik hou ervan om de wereld te ontdekken en te reizen. Deze zomer ga ik met vrienden naar Lissabon en met mijn familie naar Japan. In mijn vrije tijd doe ik aan klimmen, dus de klimwand zoek ik zeker op in Delft. Ik hou verder van koken (en van lekker eten), skiën, spelletjes doen, gezelligheid met vriendinnen en mijn teckel Pien (die blijft helaas in Zwolle).

I’ll be starting my MSc in Information Security Technology at TU/e this August/September, with full support from the ALSP scholarship (covers tuition + annual €7,500 stipend). I graduated top of my class at Marmara University and have been living alone for the past 3.5 years — fully managing my own household and finances. This experience has made me responsible, tidy, and used to taking care of a home on my own. I’m respectful of others’ routines and value calm, clean, and safe environments. I don’t enjoy loud noise for long periods, but I don’t mind occasional lively moments — I usually study with noise-cancelling headphones and won’t be disturbed easily. I’m friendly, open to socializing, but also very comfortable doing my own thing when needed. I’m planning to arrive in July or August, but I’m happy to rent earlier to secure a reliable place in advance. Also, I’ll look for a part-time job and/or internship if I can once I settle in. Looking for a peaceful, well-maintained place where I can focus on my studies and adjust smoothly to my new life in the Netherlands.
