Hello, my name is Jay and I'm a 27 years old Jazz musician from Vitoria-Gasteiz in the north of Spain. This last few years I've been studying Jazz Guitar in the Conservatoire of Pamplona, Spain from which I've just graduated and also working as a guitar teacher in different places. My idea for the future is to find an affordable room/home in Amsterdam and apply for the Conservatorium van Amsterdam for the next term as I visited a couple of months back and I fell in love with the place and the music scene which I must say it's truly captivating. Personally, I'm a peaceful person, I spend most of time studying music or practicing in my room (I use headphones to practice, I don't want to bother anyone with my music), I'm not really a party person, I enjoy my peace and quiet and I love to read or go watch art/paintings in a museum...I also like to keep the house tidy, I've shared a house before with flat-mates and we used to have like a cleaning schedule that worked well just so everyone enjoy their time and have space to do their own thing in peace. I'm a PhD candidate at Radboud University and looking for a nice place to stay somewere close by. I'm 24 years old and moved from Germany to Nijmegen about 1.5 years ago. My previous accomodations were temporary and I have to leave my current place mid August at the latest. In case you need the information, my gross salary amounts to 2700€ per month currently. I like sports a lot, so in my free time, one would most likely find me outside, running or hiking, and enjoying nature. Once a week, I go to an orchestra rehearsal of the Canisius Concertband, a wind orchestra here in Nijmegen. Otherwise, I spend most of my time in the lab, between struggling with the facilites and doing exciting science.
