Rafael has been making his living in the events industry for five years since he graduated from Fine Arts KABK (Den Haag), while Christine graduated from Artscience at KABK last year. We are both handy and tidy people taking good care of our home and are very fund of cooking, growing plants and gardening as part of an active lifestyle including sports, outdoors and cultural activities. I'm not much of a party person so I spend my free time discovering Amsterdam, trying different foods with friends or just hanging out in my room watching a movie. But generally, I spend most of my time in the library studying. I also don't drink or smoke, would rather buy some nice pastries or coffee instead haha. If I say so myself, I'm a pretty chill person, definitely very clean and just generally like to keep the atmosphere around calm and peaceful. I really enjoy Netherlands, and I am hoping that I can stay here to live and work. So I will live in Amsterdam for at least three years. I am really communicative, but also can respect when people need their space, therefore I would love to live in a shared apartment. A little about me: I love spending time with my friends and family. I like to go out or stay in -> both have their positives sides and I enjoy both. For sporty activities I’d like to go swimming and just started jogging (but I don’t know if I like it yet) I am very responsible, friendly, open minded, clean, outgoing, positive and reliable. Also I can be very clumsy haha so living with me never gets boring (in a funny way) 😇. I grew up with animals, so I have no problems living with an animal. Ik ben iemand die van gezelligheid houdt of het nu gaat om het vinden van leuke cafés, genieten van de sfeer op een terras of gewoon samen een gezellige opstap gaan, ik ben altijd in voor een leuke tijd. Naast mijn sociale kant ben ik ook serieus over mijn studie en waardeer ik een rustige plek om te kunnen studeren. Maar ik hoop zeker een huis te vinden waar er een goede balans is tussen studeren en gezelligheid! Ik ben een relaxte sociale huisgenoot en hecht veel waarde aan respectvol met anderen omgaan en aan een goede sfeer in huis. I like sports a lot, so in my free time, one would most likely find me outside, running or hiking, and enjoying nature. Once a week, I go to an orchestra rehearsal of the Canisius Concertband, a wind orchestra here in Nijmegen.
