I'm a PhD candidate at Radboud University and looking for a nice place to stay somewere close by. I'm 24 years old and moved from Germany to Nijmegen about 1.5 years ago. My previous accomodations were temporary and I have to leave my current place mid August at the latest. In case you need the information, my gross salary amounts to 2700€ per month currently. I like sports a lot, so in my free time, one would most likely find me outside, running or hiking, and enjoying nature. Once a week, I go to an orchestra rehearsal of the Canisius Concertband, a wind orchestra here in Nijmegen. Otherwise, I spend most of my time in the lab, between struggling with the facilites and doing exciting science.

Daarom lijkt het me ook leuk om wekelijks samen te eten of leuke dingen te doen. Momenteel reis ik vanuit Nijmegen op en neer naar Leiden voor mijn studie Taalwetenschap. In het weekend en de college-vrije periodes zal ik thuis in Nijmegen zijn. In mijn vrije tijd luister ik naar muziek en kijk ik films en series, altijd met een koptelefoon op. Ik rook niet en drink geen alcohol. Ik ben wat meer op mezelf en vind het dus geen probleem om geen bezoek in mijn kamer te ontvangen. Maar een praatje is altijd gezellig. En ik hou van bordspelletjes.

I'm Jannis. I'm originally from Chalkida, Greece, but I've been living in Amsterdam for the past five years. I'm a painter (studied fine arts in the university of Athens), currently I'm working as a data engineer, and I work a pretty normal 8-5 schedule. During the week, I'm usually in bed by 10:30 and up by 6. I would describe myself as an easy going and independent person. I'm social, but also appreciate my time alone. I appreciate having guests but am mindful of other's comfort, and would always be open and communicative about having people over, and much the same would appreciate room mates to be open with me as well. I'm open to developing friendships but do not see this as a top priority in searching for a roommate. It is important to have a good level of understanding and respect of our mutual space. I like to keep my living space clean and organized and am the type of person to wash dishes as they are made. I'm looking to move in sometime during June. I'm hoping to find a house near Amsterdam Oost region. I would like my own bedroom, and I'm open to living with 1-3 other people. Ideally, the house would have a yard or at least a porch. If the bedrooms are sized differently enough to justify different prices, I'm happy staying in the larger or smaller room.
