Hoi! Mijn naam is Maud. Ik ben 17 jaar (in november word ik 18) en vanaf september begin ik aan de bachelor Biomedische Wetenschappen aan de Radboud Universiteit in Nijmegen. Op dit moment woon ik nog in Nijverdal, maar omdat de reistijd ruim twee uur is, ben ik op zoek naar een fijne kamer in Nijmegen. Over mezelf: ik ben een sociaal, enthousiast en zelfstandig persoon. Ik vind het leuk om nieuwe mensen te leren kennen en ben altijd in voor een gezellig praatje of een gezamenlijke activiteit, maar ik vind het net zo belangrijk dat iedereen zijn eigen rust en ruimte heeft. Naast mijn studie speel ik waterpolo op eredivisieniveau. Daardoor heb ik een druk, maar gestructureerd leven en ben ik gewend verantwoordelijkheid te nemen. Het grootste deel van mijn team en veel van mijn vrienden zijn ouder dan ik, waardoor ik me prettig voel in een wat meer volwassen woonomgeving. In mijn vrije tijd ga ik graag naar concerten en festivals, spreek ik af met vriendinnen, kijk ik graag een goede film en vind ik het leuk om af en toe iets lekkers te koken of te bakken. Als huisgenoot ben ik netjes, betrouwbaar en behulpzaam. Ik vind het belangrijk dat een huis schoon blijft, dat je rekening met elkaar houdt en dat er een fijne sfeer is waarin iedereen zich thuis voelt. Denk je dat ik goed bij jullie huis pas? Hi, my name is Archie and I’m 19 years old. I’m originally from Spain, with British/Spanish parents - I’m fully bilingual. I’m moving to Eindhoven to study Industrial Engineering at TU/e and I’m looking for a comfortable, quiet place to call home while I focus on my degree. Before starting university I spent a gap year solo-travelling through South America, working in Maui and honing my surf skills, and spending a month in Bali surfing twice a day and meeting travellers from all over the world. It was an incredible experience that taught me a lot about independence, adaptability, and looking after myself (and others) wherever I am.
