My name is Jacopo, and I will start the Master “Conflict Studies and Human Rights” at Utrecht University. I would love to work as a humanitarian operator in regions affected by conflicts and the course at Utrecht offers a lot of opportunities in this field. Therefore, I decided to enroll at the university, even if I knew it is quite challenging to find a place where to live in the city. I am currently in Brussels for an internship with a Dutch NGO (Global Human Rights Defence) where I am learning French. About me I am an extroverted person who likes also to enjoy a coffee or a meal with other people. I like cooking very much, especially roman dishes, and playing chess when I have some free time. In Utrecht I plan to have a student life, so I will often be outside for university, studying in the library and other activities in general, so I do not think I will be home frequently. For me it would also be important to find a student job, so it will reduce the time I will spend at home. I am a non-smoker, and I do not enjoy very much house parties as I prefer open air festivals or clubs with electronic music, so when I am at home, I like to enjoy some tranquility.

I'm 22 year old student starting my psychology (research) masters at the Universiteit van Amsterdam (UvA), this summer. I originally come from the northern country side of Germany and love being outside, going out with friends, and also just having some time for myself reading or writing. I'm studying most of the time and I found cooking to be a really nice break from that and like to try new recipes. I have a long-distance girlfriend back home that I see once to twice a month. Either she comes visiting me, or I visit her.
