My name is Jasmine — I’m an American student who has been living and studying in Utrecht for the past three years, completing a Bachelor’s degree in Literature, History, and Philosophy at University College Utrecht. I’ve been accepted into a Master’s program starting in September 2026, and in the upcoming year I plan to work and take on as many internships as possible. Kanrani is a fellow UCU student currently working on his Bachelor’s thesis. We've lived toegther in Utrecht for almost three years. We’re both responsible, respectful, and value a peaceful living environment. I love reading, writing, and painting; Kanrani enjoys long walks, producing music (with excellent noise-canceling headphones 😉), and watching movies. We both love to cook and bake. After three years in student housing, we’re both used to cohabiting with different kinds of people and know how to be flexible and considerate. We're hoping to find an apartment, studio, or a spot in shared housing in Rotterdam, Amsterdam, The Hague, or Utrecht, preferably with good access to public transportation and amenities. Ik heb het geluk dat ik mijn werk ook heel leuk vind. Ik werk op ROC Rijn IJssel, aan een opleiding voor vluchtelingen. Ik ben daar docent, mentor en loopbaanbegeleider. Ik ga dus elke dag op en neer naar Arnhem. Ik zoek huisgenoten die het gezellig vinden om soms samen te eten, een spelletje te doen, een film te kijken of om even een rondje te wandelen. Ik trek me ook graag terug maar ik vind het gewoon een gezellig idee dat er mensen thuis zijn!

 I am originally from Iran and currently completing my PhD in Informatics in Austria, where I have been living for almost five years. I have experience with various living arrangements, including student housing. Additionally, I shared accommodations with an Italian housemate, and we remain close friends even after four years. I also had two shorter stays with Iranian housemates, both of which were positive experiences. And currently, I am living in an Apartment in Austria.  As a tenant, I am quiet, clean, polit, reliable, and considerate of others. I enjoy spending time with people and am known by my friends, family, and colleagues as a friendly, supportive, and nice individual. In my free time, I love cooking, watching movies and playing indoor soccer, which help me connect with others and maintain a balanced lifestyle.
