Hi! My name is Martim, I’m a 22-year-old Portuguese student and I’ll be starting the ICT programme at Fontys University of Applied Sciences this September. I’m a calm, respectful and tidy person who enjoys a friendly home environment while also respecting everyone’s privacy. In my free time I like surfing, music, going to the gym, gaming and spending time with friends. I’m looking for a room from August for at least one academic year, with the possibility of staying longer if everything goes well. I don’t smoke and I take good care of the place where I live. My parents will act as guarantors and I also have my own savings from previous work in the Netherlands, so rent payments are secure and reliable. Ik ben net terug van twee minors in het buitenland en heb door de reden mijn kamer ook opgezegd in Leeuwarden. Nu ik een stage in Groningen heb, wil ik ook een kamer in Groningen en weg bij mijn ouders, aangezien ik op mezelf wonen nu gewend ben. Hoi, We kwamen jullie advertentie tegen en willen ons graag even voorstellen. We zijn op zoek naar een fijne woonplek vanaf augustus. Dat kan een appartement voor ons samen zijn, maar we zijn ook op zoek naar een kamer voor één van ons. Als jullie twee kamers vrij hebben in een woongroep, zou dat perfect zijn voor ons, en hopelijk ook voor jullie. Daarom reageren we zowel op appartementen als op kamers. Wij zijn Sina (22) en Philipp (22), een stel uit Neurenberg in Duitsland. We hebben net onze bachelor afgerond en starten in september met de master Bedrijfskunde aan de Rijksuniversiteit Groningen. Voor ons is de verhuizing naar Groningen meer dan alleen een studie. We hebben allebei een sterke band met Nederland en kijken ernaar uit om hier de komende jaren te wonen, te studeren en later ook te werken. Tijdens onze bachelor werden we financieel ondersteund door onze families, en dat blijft ook tijdens onze master zo. Daarnaast willen we allebei naast onze studie blijven werken, net zoals we dat in Duitsland deden. Sina werkt momenteel fulltime bij SAP en Philipp bij Siemens Energy. We kunnen natuurlijk een bewijs van onze financiële situatie aanleveren. We zijn rustige en nette huurders, roken niet en hebben geen huisdieren. We vinden het belangrijk om goed voor onze woonruimte te zorgen en zoeken een plek waar we ons echt thuis kunnen voelen. Hi everyone! I'm Lola, 22 years old and from Vienna, Austria. I'll be moving to the Netherlands at the end of August to get my Masters in Crisis and Security Management at Leiden University (The Hague Campus). Ideally, I'm trying to find a room in a shared apartment/house with roommates or a small apartment/studio either in The Hague, Leiden or Delft to rent for a little more than a year starting mid-August. I'm very excited to be studying "abroad" (or away from home, I guess) again, as I find that experiencing new cultures is one of the best things a young person can do. I'm a huge fan of traveling and I got my Bachelor's degree in the United States, so I think living somewhere different in Europe for my Masters will be a cool change. I'm used to living with people, I've always grown up with siblings and spent the last four years living with 1, 2 and all the way up to 6 people, so I'd say I'm quite adaptable and know how roommate life works. As for my free time, I looove all things food and going out to eat, hanging out with my roommates, reading, going out on the weekends but also having fun nights in. I would describe myself as outgoing, responsible, independent, easygoing, and fun to be around. I'm also a very active person, I've played tennis my whole life and played college sports while in the US but generally enjoy most sports (especially volleyball and football). I don't speak Dutch yet BUT I'll be learning, so for now I hope my German and English (and humble French) will suffice :). Excited to meet you guys!!
