I have now lived here for 1,5 years and caught some of the Dutch skills during that trip too. I work in Horeca ( in a cute açai store!) and as an sales person for Nike. It means that I appreciate a more quiet home environment and perhaps roommates that also enjoy chill movie nights at home while cooking together. Especially if I have my music going through the headphones I start power cleaning.
