Ik ben Maarten, 21 jaar en ben opgegroeid in Steenwijk. Nadat ik dit jaar afgestudeerd ben aan mijn HBO Commerciële economie in Zwolle, ga ik volgend jaar beginnen aan mijn pre-master marketing aan de RUG. Na de pre-master begin ik aan de master Marketing management. Naast mijn studie ben ik regelmatig op het voetbalveld te vinden of bezig met andere sporten. Daarnaast hou ik ervan om gezellige dingen te doen met vrienden. Tijdens mijn vorige studie heb ik ervoor gekozen om nog in Steenwijk te blijven, maar het lijkt me nu juist leuk om een toffe kamer te vinden met chille huisgenoten. Daarom lijkt het me ook leuk om wekelijks samen te eten of leuke dingen te doen. Ik werk full-time bij een non-profit in Den Haag die zich richt op internationaal ontwikkelingswerk en het versterken van lokale regeringen in conflict- en ontwikkelingslanden. Als geboren Amsterdammer ben ik enthousiast om op weer op zoek te zijn naar een kamer in Amsterdam nadat ik een hele tijd in Barcelona en Montreal heb gewoond! Als huisgenoot ben ik een sociale, nette, en rustige jongen. Ik hou erg van koken en ben dus zeker vaak te porren voor een goede maaltijd met een drankje erbij. Qua hobbies kan je me vaak vinden in de bergen op een beklimming of in de boulderhal. Ook maak ik veel (analoge) foto's en bak ik brood! Ik werk full-time, dus als huisgenoot zal ik niet altijd thuis zijn. Ik hecht zelf veel waarde aan een fijn thuis. Ik vind het dus fijn om met respect en vriendelijkheid met elkaar te wonen zodat ons huis ook echt een thuis is! I love cooking, so I'm often up for a good meal with a drink. In terms of hobbies, you can often find me climbing in the mountains or at the bouldering gym. Ik studeer Molecular Science and Technology aan de TU Delft. Momenteel woon ik in Delft in een groot huis. Ik heb het erg naar mijn zin gehad de afgelopen maanden, maar heb toch gemerkt dat ik toe ben aan een kleiner huis.
