My name is Andreas, :)) 23, from southern Germany. In September I'm moving to The Hague to start a one-year master's in Crisis and Security Management at Leiden University, and I'm looking for a room I can settle into for the whole duration of my studies, not just somewhere to sleep between lectures. The thing I care about most in a shared home is trust, simply being someone you can rely on, whatever kind of day it's been. I'm quiet and easy to live with, but sociable too, I genuinely enjoy cooking, a shared meal or a beer in the evening, and I can just as happily have a calm night in. It really depends on the mood, I read the room and fit in. I like a home that actually works, where the kitchen gets used, where I do my share without being asked, and where I'll fix a small thing rather than let it sit. I'm tidy, low-drama, and I've never minded picking up a little slack for people I live with. Alongside my studies I intend to work as well, so my days are structured and my rhythm fits a working household. I’m Sara, I’m 29 years old and I’m Italian. I’m currently doing a PhD in Italy in Turin, where I’ve been living for the past 10 years. I’m originally from Sardinia, so I’m quite used to living far from home, moving around and living in rented apartments! Now I’m moving to Utrecht for a semester at the Science Park, and I’m really excited about this new experience. I would say I’m a very outgoing person. I love meeting new people, having long conversations and spending evenings together, especially if there is some good food and a nice glass of wine involved.... but I’m also happy with a cold beer! I’m quite active and I love going for long walks, exploring new places and sometimes just getting lost in the streets of a city and taking pictures along the way. I love dancing and cooking, but despite being quite an outgoing person, I also really enjoy having some time for myself, reading a book at home. One thing you’ll probably learn about me pretty quickly is that I’m slightly obsessed with Hungary. I spent a year there as an exchange student when I was in high school, more than 10 years ago, and I still talk about it way too much.
