I’m a 22-year-old student and will start my MSc degree at Erasmus in September. Currently I live in Eindhoven, where I completed my bachelor’s degree. In my time here I come from Poland, however I have lived most of my life in Ireland (13 years), before moving to the Netherlands for university. During my time in Eindhoven, I helped organise activities from my study association, I did a student team part-time and was part of a volleyball team for 3 years, so I like to keep myself busy. In Eindhoven most of my friends were Dutch and spoke Dutch to me, so I can almost fluently understand Dutch, and speaking is a work-in-progress. While I enjoy social activities, I am also an ambitious student; I completed my BSc in 3 years and will follow 2 MSc programs. I am outgoing, but also like to relax at home from time to time whether it is board games or watching a series. I am a tidy person and always clean up after myself. I enjoy cooking and know how to make a meal or two. What I value in a house is a relaxed atmosphere, where there are people to just chill with, but where I can also find some space for myself to relax. I also uploaded some relatively recent pictures which hopefully give a good impression of me :)

My employer is based within Amsterdam and so I would ideally prefer to find a suitable studio or room within a commutable distance so I would ideally like to find a place within Holland, but I am open to commuting futher. In terms of shared facilities I care the most about kitchen as I like to cook a lot, I prefer if it is kept clean by all members of the house. I am not a big party person, I prefer the calm and quiet atmosphere at the house, but I don't mind occasional social events. I don't have any pets, and I also don't smoke. Hey hey, leuk dat je dit leest! Ik ben Rick, 17 jaar (bijna 18, nog een kleine drie weken). Ik zit in nu Hilversum op school en ga over een maandje examen doen voor gymnasium. Ik woon in Soest, dit ligt tussen Hilversum en Amersfoort. Vanaf september wil ik graag rechten gaan studeren aan de Rug, en als master denk ik privaat- of strafrecht, maar dat duurt nog wel even. Ik wil denk ik bij een studentenvereniging geen idee welke, suggesties zijn zeker welkom. Ik speel waterpolo en doe aan fitness, ik houd van zwemmen, koken (mijn lasagne is grandioos, al zeg ik het zelf), reizen, sporten en uitgaan. In Groningen lijkt het mij leuk om deel te nemen aan waterpolo/rugby/roei -team, en ik blijf ook fitness doen. Ik werk nu als lifeguard bij bosbad Amersfoort en ik werk ook bij de karwei. Verder ben ik een rustige behulpzame jongen maar ik houd zeker wel van een feestje. Ik zoek een kamer in een gezellig huis, ik kan per direct al huren. Hoewel ik pas in juni/juli zal intrekken in het huis aangezien ik nu vlak voor mijn examens zit :) Groetjes Rick
