I will be continuing into my second year of studying Human Geography and Urban Planning at the University of Amsterdam in September of this year. I am looking for a place where registration is possible, and I am ideally looking for a 2-year contract. However, 1 year is also possible. I’m a German and Canadian citizen but originally grew up in Bali until I was 12. Before moving to Amsterdam last year, I lived in Berlin for 3 years, where I was studying and received my International Baccalaureate diploma. I took a year off from studying, during which I volunteered for 3 months at a yoga retreat center outside of Barcelona. After my volunteering experience, I moved back to Berlin, where I was working full-time as a receptionist at a boutique hotel. I'm a respectful tenant and value keeping my personal space clean and organized. I value keeping a healthy routine for myself by going to the gym or joining workout classes and cooking healthy, nutritious meals. Besides the fact that my English level allows me to keep up long conversations on many topics, I am a master of household order: I sacredly respect the unwritten code of cleanliness. I possess a unique genetic code that compels me to recap the toothpaste tube, put things back where they belong, and wash my coffee mug immediately, rather than "in five minutes." I respect my roommates' food boundaries. I never touch anyone else's yogurts in the fridge, I don't leave empty cartons inside just for show, and I know how to cook meals that won't trigger the smoke alarm. I love to cook, and I'm good at it. My culinary highlights include homemade pizza and tiramisu.

Once my freelance visa is approved, I will be working as a groomer five days a week. I plan to work at a salon where I can bring my dogs with me, so they will not be left alone at home. I do not smoke and I do not drink alcohol. I am a responsible and reliable tenant. I lived in the UK and Australia for a year each so I’ve used to live in abroad.
