Hey, I currently live in Haarlem, but due to renovations, I’m looking for a temporary place in the area for May. My budget is around €800 (including costs), and I don’t need registration. Hello there awesome person! My name is Karlis and I am 23 y/o man from Latvia and I am looking for a room/studio to rent for 6-12 months (I am flexible on this one) in Den Haag while I complete writing my master's thesis, work and look for an internship or a job opportunity in the field of international law. Registration at the gemeente (municipality) is a must for me since I work. I study Public International Law at Utrecht University Faculty of Law, Economics and Governance, and I think I could use a change of scenery for the rest of my studies and I would like to live closer to potential future jobs (perhaps the ICJ (at the Peace Palace) or the ICC in Scheveningen). I currently live in Hilversum Media Park in a shared apartment, which is a nice place but the time has come for me to move to Den Haag. I am very sociable but definitely not loud and I don't smoke, drink or use drugs, except for coffee in the morning :). In my current apartment we don't have a living room so I miss having a nice space to catch up, cook with and simply hang out with people who I share the apartment with, so I hope that will change soon. In my free time I hang out with friends - we go out, make dinners or visit a city. For sports, I currently run and do some push/pull/sit-ups. Otherwise, by myself I like making some music on my computer. Moreover, back home a lot my weekends I spent either doing voluntary military service or in the wild - so I like being active as well. Lastly, in December 2024 I began working at Lidl in Utrecht, and I will continue working at Lidl in Den Haag if I find a room there, so money is not an issue for me.
