I am a 22 year old student moving from Luxembourg who is enrolled at the University of Amsterdam and will be studying a Master's in Biological Sciences (MSc). I am quiet and introverted but otherwise social. I like to keep my living space clean and tidy. I speak many languages including fluent English and French, some German, and am currently learning Dutch and Japanese. I am someone who is focused on my studies and in my spare time I like to read, write, listen to music (I always use my headphones - don't worry :) ) and I enjoy exploring nature. Hallo, Mijn naam is Kalkidan Hoex. Ik ben in 2020 afgestudeerd aan mijn Masters in Design. Ik heb in eigen startend bedrijfje. Momenteel werk samen met gemeente Rotterdam, State of fashion, M-ODE aan een project in Rotterdam. Ik ben curator van verschillende Exposities. Mijn werk ligt in verschillende museums binnen en buiten land. Zweden, Centraal Museum Utrecht, NewYork Sienna Patty Gallery ect. Het is een hele jonge brand en werk alleen tot nu toe. Verder werk ik ook als docent aan de Breitner Academie in Amsterdam. En geef ik Design lessen. Mijn inkomsten per maand zijn ongeveer 900 euro per maand. Met uitbreiding in maart dan ga ik 1 dag extra werken. En mijn lopende inkomen van mijn bedrijf. ik werk 2 dagen in de week als docent en werk 5 dagen in de week in mijn Atelier in Amsterdam. Nu zeer moeilijk te werken aangezien ik gedwongen bij mijn ouders met wonen in Meijel 2,5 uur van Rotterdam. Doordat de woning aanbod kansen voor mij zeer tot niet aanwezig zijn in de randstad. Als ik een dag vrij neem hou ik ervan om te wandelen, lezen, illustreren van comics, gamen. Ik wil een droom waar maken als financieel stabiel label aansluitend met projecten relevant voor de maatschappij. En daar voor moet ik klein beginnen en alles in mijn bedrijf stoppen. Mijn mogelijkheden zouden enorm kunnen groeien als ik niet meer in een drop woon zonder mogelijkheden in Meijel. En te wonen in Rotterdam voor een betaalbaren prijs als startende. Mijn studie tijd heb ik ook onder Maximus en Servatius gewoond. 5 jaar lang. Ik kan direct verhuizen. Voor mijn label en ambities wil ik een kans. een kans om tijdelijk een echte start te maken met mijn praktijk wonend in Rotterdam waar mijn studio is , Waar ik werk met museums, waar ik Docent ben en voornamelijk een leven heb. My name is Moritz, I am 24 years old from Aachen (Germany) and I will be starting an internship at the European Space Research and Technology Centre (ESTEC) on 1 May 2026, lasting until 31 October 2026. For the time being, I am searching for a small room or flat in the Noordwijk area, so that I can commute to ESTEC every day and enjoy the student life in the Netherlands a little bit :) Overall, I am currently a Master's student at RWTH Aachen University that is working in research and has a big interest in anything related to technology, sports (running, cycling, swimming, volleyball), photography and culture. As of now, I am about to graduate and move onto the PhD programme at my university. Previously, I also spent two trimesters in Paris at École Polytechnique (X), where I really enjoyed getting to know and spending time with the other students. I am now hoping for a similar experience in the Netherlands! Regarding the language barrier, I am sure that I will be able to understand one or two words of Dutch as German native speaker. But in any case, I also speak fluent English and a little French. When it comes to financials, I will be covered with more than enough money from the ESA internship, my monthly support from the parents and a scholarship I get from the Porsche AG. Jodiejo, mijn naam is Bram en na mijn bachelor te hebben gehaald in in het verre oosten kom ik nu ook maar eens Delft terroriseren. Ik zou mezelf omschrijven als een energieke gozer boven alles, en een dag niets gedaan is een dag niet geleefd. Naast het studeren van Computer Science probeer ik het leven leuk te houden met Klimmen, vooralsnog in Enschede maar later bij de klimvereniging Yeti, D&D spelen met vrienden en hier een daar een feestje meepakken. In een studentenhuis ben ik altijd groot fan van een spelletje met z'n allen of met iedereen eten, en na jaren hard werken oefenen is zijn mijn kookkunsten ondertussen toch niet zo slecht meer.
