Do you want to rent an apartment in Rotterdam? In that case, Kamernet is the way to start, Rotterdam is the second largest city of The Netherlands and there is no other city quite like it in The Netherlands. What makes Rotterdam unique are the modern architecture, great art galleries and amazing restaurants and nightclubs. For these reasons, Rotterdam is an attractive city for the Dutch, expats and international students.
Rental prices in Rotterdam
The rental prices in Rotterdam are a little higher than in the rest of The Netherlands. Depending in which neighborhood you decide to rent an apartment, the rental price might be lower. The most popular neighborhood is the city center; here the rental prices are generally higher. However, you do live in the city center and that is absolutely worth it. Another popular neighborhood is Rotterdam North. The city center is easily reached and the rental prices are lower. A newly developing and more up and coming neighborhood is called Kop van Zuid. It is located the other end of the landmark that is called the Erasmus Bridge and had a lot of new restaurants, bars and housing developments. The area is known for the multicultural diversity, which can also be found in the rest of the city. There is also an easy connection by means of the metro to reach the city center.
