Ik heb dus een vrij rustige levensstijl. Een mooie dag betekent voor mij 's ochtends yoga te doen, daarna thuis genieten van een kopje koffie, en de dag over met vrienden naar de natuur of de markt gaan. Ik zoek een studio maar ben ook open voor in een woongroep te wonen. Ik vind het belangrijk mijn eigen privacy te hebben om op een volle dag mijn batterijen te laden. Tegelijkertijd vind ik het fijn om gemeenschappelijk wonen, samen te koken, en een thuis met anderen te kunnen creëren. Ik ben proactief en breng mezelf graag in de gemeenschap in, bijvoorbeeld door (Ayurvedisch) te koken! Het zorgen voor mijn thuis is essentieel voor mij, want in een gelukkige omgeving leeft een gelukkige geest. :) —- English —- Hey! I am happy here, with a feeling of living in a fairytale book, because of the old buildings and small streets. In my daily life, I work as a psychologist because I am curious to get to know people from different backgrounds and to support them through difficult phases of their lives. In addition to therapy, I give Ashtanga yoga lessons and nutritional advice according to Ayurvedic principles. I think that ancient wisdom can be very valuable for a modern life! I have a fairly quiet lifestyle. A nice day for me means doing yoga in the morning, then enjoying a cup of coffee at home, and going to nature or the market during the day with friends. I look for a studio, but am very open to a shared living as well. I have had good experiences living with flatmates. I find it important to have my own privacy in order to recharge my batteries after a full day. At the same time, I like to live together, cook together, and create a home with others. For example by cooking (Ayurvedic) for the flatmates! ;) Taking care of my home is essential to me, because in a happy environment lives a happy mind. :)

Hi, I'm Joshua (25). I graduated from my master's program in work and organizational psychology at Tilburg University. Now, I work full-time at FedEx as a Project Manager for strategic projects in the European Union. With a permanent contract, paying rent on time should not be a problem. I am currently based in Rotterdam West and need to move out because my lease is ending and there is no chance of extending. As a roommate, I have a lot of experience as I have shared multiple homes with many people in Russia, the Netherlands, India Italy, and Lebanon. Thus it goes without saying I can navigate the complexity of cross-cultural communication and can bond with my roommates from all across the world. I do understand that conflicts can still happen, but my educational background and experience allow me to be proficient in conflict management so that both parties are satisfied. As a person I am very open and sociable, I love to talk and meet new people! I am extremely open-minded and I value other's feedback/opinions. Additionally, I also love a clean environment and I always make it a point to clean up after myself, (e.g.I make sure to take some extra time to clean up after I cook so that the kitchen is clean for the next person to use it) because I respect my roommates and want to keep it clean for them to use. I am a very cooperative and understanding person who strives to be an asset to the household rather than a burden. Some of my interests are learning about new languages/cultures. I can speak 5ish languages, at the moment I am learning Dutch (B1-A2) and Spanish (A1). I love cooking food with people and having a chill evening with nice tunes /vibes and I love to party. Alternatively, I am always up for a drink and pleasant conversation. Moreover, I love to explore new places and create new experiences, I am spontaneously up for anything. Some of my other hobbies include going to the gym, and statistics (odd hobbies I know, but I use it to help all my friends with their stats questions and thesis), I love listening to almost every music genre/language as possible. Hey, ik ben Lotte en ga volgend jaar Psychologie studeren aan de UU. Ik heb hier mega veel zin in, alleen heb ik dan wel een kamer nodig natuurlijk. Naast school doe ik het liefst leuke dingen met vrienden, zoals ergens een drankje doen, naar een feestje of concert of een movie night. Soms kan ik ook wel erg van mijn rust genieten en tegen een avondje niks doen zeg ik geen nee. Ook vind ik het erg leuk om te bakken in mijn vrije tijd. Ik vind het erg belangrijk als het in huis schoon en opgeruimd is en dat iedereen goed met elkaar om kan gaan en dat het gezellig blijft.

Hoi, ik ben Michael, 18 jaar en eerstejaars Technische Natuurkunde aan de TU/e. En ja, dit is zo’n kamervraag-berichtje — maar hopelijk eentje die je niet meteen wegklikt 😉. Ik wist eigenlijk altijd al dat ik natuurkundige wilde worden, en dat groeide uit tot een droom om eigen producten te maken samen met anderen en die de wereld in te brengen. Daarom ben ik van Engeland naar Eindhoven verhuisd (ik liet er zelfs een plek bij Durham University voor schieten). Ik spreek gewoon Nederlands en heb familie hier als noodplan, maar een vaste stek in Eindhoven heb ik natuurlijk veel liever. Verder: ik ben sportief en hou van alles wat met bewegen te maken heeft, liefst extreem en avontuurlijk: mountainbiken, skiën en windsurfen. Maar ik ben ook in voor badminton, squash, tafeltennis of volleybal — en serieus, zelfs een potje tiddlywinks vind ik prima. Maakt mij echt niet uit wat, als het maar samen en gezellig is. Ik kook graag (vind zelf dat ik er goed in ben, oordeel zelf maar 😉). Gezelligheid betekent voor mij samen dingen doen: spelletjes spelen, gamen, sporten of een borrel. Feestbeest ben ik niet echt, maar antisociaal zeker ook niet — hoeveel mensen kunnen zeggen dat ze karaoke hebben gezongen voor een volle bar met wildvreemde Italianen, compleet vals en zonder één druppel alcohol? (Video bestaat, maar NDA verplicht voordat ik ‘m laat zien 😉). Klinkt dit een beetje alsof ik in jullie huis pas? Stuur vooral een berichtje terug, lijkt me leuk om kennis te maken!
