I have been living in Groningen for 4 years, and am looking to settle down to finish my studies, work, and settle down here! I do not smoke, have no pets, have a stable income, and am able to move into a new place whenever suits the renter!

I am looking for a room or a studio, preferably in a house with other students. I am a very respectful and polite person and I always managed to create long lasting friendship everywhere I went. During my studies, I have lived in Canada (for an exchange programme in High school), Groningen (for my bachelor) and Tokyo (doing my minor for my bachelor degree). I am a very positive person. I always have a joke to say and cheer you up. I really like playing music, rock climbing, playing squash, having movie nights. But the thing that I love the most is cooking and food. It really just makes me happy.

Hey, I'm Jana, 20 years old, from Frankfurt Germany. I will start my international bachelor's degree in psychology in Leiden in September. So I'm looking for a room in Leiden/near Leiden from June/July/August on. About me: I graduated from high school last summer and decided to travel Europe. There I worked in different hostels and always shared a dorm with the other lovely volunteers. The 4 months have taught me a lot about being independent and tidying up my stuff and keeping things clean. But it helped me even more to learn to share a room with so many other people from other cultures and to live together and set boundaries as well as to accept those of others. Apart from traveling, I love going out with friends for a few drinks, dancing to house music and wine evenings on the balcony. On the other hand, I also love having really quiet evenings where we just sit together relax, chat, maybe cook and watch a movie. In my free time I go to the gym regularly. And just recently I've gotten to do yoga and Pilates a little more, which I also really enjoy. I am also a very creative person who likes to do crafts, paint or make pottery. And I also enjoy doing it with friends! About the room I would imagine a room around 15 m2 in size. But more important about the roomies. 1-3 roommates would be ideal - but I would have absolutely no problem with a larger number of roommates. Of course it would be great if the roommates were about the same age as me. Of course, I think it would be ideal if at some point as roommates you share hobbies and do things together((:

Hoi! Ik ben Marianne en ik ben op zoek naar een fijne thuisbasis. Ik werk als stoelmasseur en zit daarnaast in de (afrondende) fase van mijn opleiding tot zen shiatsu therapeut. Doordat ik voor mijn werk op een dag veel mensen zie (en behandel), kan ik een rustig (en schoon) huisje enorm waarderen. Daar lever ik als huisgenoot graag mijn bijdrage aan. Ik hou verder van chi kung, in de natuur zijn, hardlopen, lezen en spelletjes (Dixit anyone?).

Momenteel reis ik vanuit Nijmegen op en neer naar Leiden voor mijn studie Taalwetenschap. In het weekend en de college-vrije periodes zal ik thuis in Nijmegen zijn. In mijn vrije tijd luister ik naar muziek en kijk ik films en series, altijd met een koptelefoon. Ik rook niet en drink geen alcohol. Ik ben wat meer op mezelf en graag alleen, ik zal dus niet of nauwelijks bezoek ontvangen. Maar een praatje is altijd gezellig. En ik hou van bordspelletjes.
