I'm moving to Leiden this summer to begin an MA in Moral and Political Philosophy at Leiden University. I'm a social person who enjoys sharing meals and watching sports with others (especially US college basketball and European football). At the same time, I also enjoy my own space—you can often find me reading (fiction or nonfiction) and running/cycling. Hi! I’m Simon, an 18-year-old german student from Berlin. I’ve been accepted into the AKI, where I’ll be studying Crossmedia Design. Moving to the Netherlands is a big step for me, and I’m really looking forward to meet new people and start studying what I love. I'm also excited to learn Dutch. In my free time, I love playing various instruments (mostly electronic, so noise won't be that much of an issue with headphones), drawing, photographing and table tennis. My favorite season is winter, and one of my favorite travel destinations is Norway, as you can see in the pictures. I like watching movies or cooking together every now and then. I'm a vegetarian and I'm especially good at cutting vegetables into very small pieces. I'm not a morning person, so I can't solve complicated math problems first thing in the morning. On the other hand, I'm very creative and have a good sense of humor. I'm responsible and environmentally conscious. I was active with Fridays for Future.
