I don't know if there is the equivalent in the Netherlands: I studied Latin and Greek for five years, as well as philosophy and history, which is by far my favourite subject. I also love maths, science, nature and animals so last year I enrolled in Applied Earth Sciences in Delft, because I would like to contribute to making our world a bit sustainable. Then, after some month in Delft I decided to quit Applied Earth Sciences in order to follow my ancient passion for history and I will start in September to study History at Utrecht University. I am a bit shy, so in my spare time I don't go out that much, but I prefer to read or watch TV series (my favourites have been Breaking Bad, The Boys, Better Call Saul and The Office). When I see my friends, mainly my high school friends, together we love to play Dungeons and Dragons or watch movies. I would like to start university in a studio or in a shared flat, both solutions are suitable for me because I love getting to know new people and cultures and to integrate more quickly with the world of university students in Utrecht. I would love to learn Dutch and get to know more about the culture, customs and cuisine of this country. I love cooking a lot and would love to both learn new recipes and share the ones I know (pasta carbonara is my favourite). I am an American living in Groningen, studying for my PhD in astrophysics at the RUG. I studied at Georgia State University, where I earned my Bachelors and Masters degree in physics and astronomy. My thesis involves gas dynamics in galaxies across cosmic time, and how that might affect how galaxies evolve. I also am active in outreach events in the city, which brings astronomy to the general public! Outside of academics I enjoy listening to new music, experimenting with fashion, watching my favorite comfort shows, and making small crafts to decorate. Hello! We are a canadian couple and we are going to study at Codarts next year. We are 26 and 27 years old. We are looking for a place that offers registration for two people and our plan is to stay in the Netherlands for two years, ideally in the same place. Since we are both quite calm we are also looking for a place on the quieter side.  Now on the financial aspect: we are currently working as military musicians in the Canadian Forces. Since we are coming here for two years, we will not have an income during our time in the Netherlands, but we do have a guarantor and enough money saved up to afford this renting as well as an income during the summer between our two years of study.
