Ik ben Sjoerd, ik ben 24. Eind september heb ik mijn master Integrated Product Design (een io-er dus) afgerond en begin in januari met mijn eerste grote-mensen-baan, als ‘3d printing engineer’. Ik houd van voetballen, en voetbal dan ook nog elke week bij FC Tutor (de studenten-zaalvoetbalverenging in Delft) en met mijn maandagavondcompetitie team. Verder vind ik andere sporten ook altijd leuk, met name hardlopen, squashen en boulderen. Verder heb ik ook altijd wel zin om samen te koken, spelletjes te spelen, random sporten uit te proberen, filmavondjes te houden of gewoon heel dom te lullen over van alles en nog wat.

My name is Rui Marques, I am Portuguese and 25 years old. I am looking for a studio/apartment/house for me and my girlfriend, Joana Ferreira, Portuguese and also 25 years old.  Both of us are doing our PhD in Cancer Researcher in Portugal, together with the Leiden University Medical Center. Our monthly payment is provided by the Foundation for Science and Technology, which is the government entity in Portugal responsible for paying PhD students. Each of us earns 2218€ per month, with also a first additional income for housing deposits and travel. We can provide the needed documents to prove this. Both of us are well humored, calm, organized and unproblematic people. We both give a lot of importance to a clean, organized and quiet home.We enjoy hanging out and getting to know new places, go on walks and participate in the community around us but also enjoy cozy days at home watching movies and TV shows. I must add that I have already lived in Leiden for 6 months from july to december 2025 (I can also send proof of this and provide contact of my previous landlords ). This gives me already a notion of what it is like living in the Netherlands. Additionally we have 2 small dogs. Well behaved, trained and used to live indoors. Because of that we are open to pay a caution of value that you see fit. To show you we are serious in staying in the Netherlands and that we are able to deal with rental we are open to pay upfront X months of rent (depending on the rent amount). We can move in on the first weeks of March. As we are in Portugal currently we are not able to visit the apartment.
