I have successfully completed the 2024-2025 academic year as a student at Twente Pathway College (International Foundation Year), and admitted to Technical Computer Science bachelor program at the University of Twente. As for now I live on campus (Plaza Residence), but the contract expires on 28.08.2025. So I'm looking for good company and a more affordable place for living. I like sports (swimming, tennis, fitness, basketball, skating), playing computer games and chess, and have some experience in cooking.

I’m Sophia, a 20-year-old Bachelor student from Munich, Germany, currently in my 4th semester. I’ll be spending an exchange semester in Groningen and am looking for a place to stay from August/September 2025 until January 2026. At the moment, I live in a shared apartment and really enjoy spending time with my flatmate — whether it’s cooking, baking, or just hanging out. I’d love to find a similar living atmosphere in Groningen. I’m a tidy and reliable person who values a calm and clean home. In my free time, I enjoy outdoor activities like swimming, cycling, or just spending time outside with friends. Alongside my studies, I’m working at a marketing agency in Munich. That said, my parents will be covering my rent, so payment is guaranteed. If you need any proof of income or financial support, I’ll be happy to provide it. Ik ben een fulltime werkende en betrouwbare huurder. Op dit moment werk ik als sieradenontwerper bij My Jewellery. Eventueel kan ik hiervoor referenties en bewijs van inkomen aanleveren. Ik ben een ontspannen, creatief en actief persoon, die het belangrijk vindt om een goede respectvolle relatie met de verhuurder te hebben. Hoewel ik een expat ben, voelt Nederland inmiddels als thuis. Ik heb al eerder een aantal jaar in Nederland gewoond. Ook heb ik familie en goede vrienden in de buurt. Ik wil dan ook zeker verder blijven integreren in het Nederlandse leven, ik ben bijvoorbeeld ook begonnen met het leren van de taal. Omdat ik nog een beginner ben, heeft een vriend mij geholpen met het vertalen van dit bericht vanuit het Engels (mijn sterkste taal).
