Over de woonruimte

I’m currently renting a bright, recently renovated and comfortable 2-bedroom apartment (62 m2) in Haarlem (Oranjeboomstraat) and am looking for a second tenant to share it.

The apartment is spread over two floors and includes two (smaller) bedrooms, a spacious living room, a kitchen, a bathroom, and a separate guest toilet. The layout makes it easy to share while still having enough privacy.

A bit about me: I am 30 years old and I recently moved to the Netherlands from Germany for work and commute to Amsterdam every day for my job as a scientist in neurobiology. Since the apartment is more space than I need on my own, I’m looking for a flatmate to share it with (only working professionals).

The rent for the room is €1020 per month (excluding utilities). Utilities and internet are not included and would be arranged separately and shared.

Important to note:
The second tenant will be proposed to the landlord for approval, and the arrangement will be formalised contractually before move-in. Registration at the address is fully possible.

I’m looking for a friendly and considerate flatmate who enjoys spending time together but also respects each other’s privacy and personal space.
