My name is Andrea, and I'm a 24-year-old Italian looking for a room from mid-August to September 2025. I plan to move to Rotterdam to pursue a Master's degree in Financial Economics at EUR. I'm looking for a place with friendly and positive people where I can have meaningful conversations and exchange ideas. I've been used to living and handling difficulties on my own since I was a kid. I am calm, cheerful, and tidy, although I may be a little messy with my belongings. Moreover, I am very active and have been playing ice hockey for ten years. I hope to continue playing in the Netherlands. In my free time, I enjoy listening to music, watching films or TV series, and reading books. I also like going to the gym to improve my physical condition. I plan to spend most of the day at the university, but I hope to find a comfortable room to come back to when I'm tired after a long day of studying. Additionally, after completing my Master's program, I am considering staying longer in the Netherlands to find work that aligns with my interests.

I moved to the Netherlands for my job in January - I work as a translator for an international travel company - and temporarily lived in a shared house in Diemen. Since the landlord sold the house, I'm looking for a new home starting from June. My office is located in Amsterdam, so I'm looking for a quiet (studio) apartment or a quiet room in a shared apartment close to a train station or metro/tram/bus stop with good connections to "Amsterdam Bijlmer Arena". However, since I work partly from home, a commute of up to an hour is fine to me, and I'm open to accommodation outside of Amsterdam if I can reach the office within a reasonable time. I'm a reliable, tidy and clean tenant and take good care of the space I live in. I'm quiet and am also looking for a quiet space since I work from home on some days. Therefore, I'm also looking for a space with enough room to have a desk and an office chair (apart from the usual bed, closet, etc.). If you offer a room in a shared apartment, please additionally note: I have lived in various shared apartments before and can accommodate to different kind of roommates easily.
