Hi, I am Sören, 20 years old and from Germany will study International Studies in Den Haag. About me: I have a passion for anything related to music. I love playing the saxophone or the piano, going to concerts and to be inspired by the people around me what music to listen to. Apart from that I love to travel and spent the 2 year after finshing highschool first on a 8 month trip in Costa Rica, Panama and Nicaragua and then on a 4 month trip in Japan and South Korea. The pictures were all taken there. Cooking, playing volleyball, playing poker and beeing a movie nerd are some side-quests I also like to do in my free time. I also really like to have a community and go into deep conversations as well as on fun adventures with the people I live together with. Hoii, Ik ben Jelmer, 23 jaar en afkomstig uit het mooie Gorinchem. Momenteel ben ik aan het afstuderen in Utrecht voor mijn opleiding Bedrijfskunde en daarna wil ik hier mijn master Banking and Finance gaan volgen. In mijn vrije tijd drink ik graag speciaalbiertjes in de zon, heb ik mijn hele leven gehockeyd (wat ik na de zomer in Utrecht weer wil oppakken) en ben ik regelmatig in de sportschool te vinden. Op een zonnige zaterdag sta ik ook graag op een hardstyle feestje en nee, niet in mijn trainingspak ;) Daarnaast werk ik nu als werkstudent bij een vastgoedbedrijf en sta ik al zo’n 7 jaar in de horeca op een gezellig terras. Omdat ik me de komende tijd echt in Utrecht wil vestigen, ben ik per direct op zoek naar een kamer met gezellige huisgenoten waar af en toe samen eten, een biertje doen of iets leuks ondernemen vanzelfsprekend is. De reden dat ik nu naar een kamer zoek is dat ik graag in Utrecht woon dichtbij familie en vrienden. Ik ben erg makkelijk in de omgang en kan me makkelijk en snel aanpassen aan een nieuwe omgeving. I’m Sara, I’m 29 years old and I’m Italian. I’m currently doing a PhD in Italy in Turin, where I’ve been living for the past 10 years. I’m originally from Sardinia, so I’m quite used to living far from home, moving around and living in rented apartments! Now I’m moving to Utrecht for a semester at the Science Park, and I’m really excited about this new experience. I would say I’m a very outgoing person. I love meeting new people, having long conversations and spending evenings together, especially if there is some good food and a nice glass of wine involved.... but I’m also happy with a cold beer! I’m quite active and I love going for long walks, exploring new places and sometimes just getting lost in the streets of a city and taking pictures along the way. I love dancing and cooking, but despite being quite an outgoing person, I also really enjoy having some time for myself, reading a book at home. One thing you’ll probably learn about me pretty quickly is that I’m slightly obsessed with Hungary. I spent a year there as an exchange student when I was in high school, more than 10 years ago, and I still talk about it way too much. My friends are honestly tired of hearing the same stories by now!
