My name is Irfan. I am an academic from Ankara, Turkey, currently working at Hacettepe University in the field of Public Administration. Starting on May 1st, I will be coming to the Erasmus University Rotterdam for a postdoctoral research position. For this reason, I would love to apply for a room. I really value open communication and collective activities. On a personal note, I am a big music lover. I play handpan and drums, and I enjoy bringing music into daily life. I also love motorcycles, sailing, cooking together, and spontaneous conversations over tea or dinner. Daarvoor heb ik in Brussel (ongeveer 7 jaar) en in Berlijn (ongeveer 1,5 jaar) gestudeerd en gewerkt. Gouda bevalt me goed, het was perfect om mijn proefschrift te schrijven, maar de verhuurder verkoopt het huis en ik moet dus vóór augustus van dit jaar verhuizen. I like to have meaningful conversations, and enjoy the occasional social event. Overall, however, I prefer a quieter peaceful environment.
