Hey! My name is Willem (25 years) and I started my PhD in February at the RIVM. The project is about building models to predict the spread of infectious diseases, like our good old friend corona… About myself: I am a social, physically active, calm and tidy person. In my spare time, I do calisthenics. Mostly in the gym, but preferably outside with nice weather and good company. Outdoor activities are my favorite! Besides calisthenics, I am looking for another sport, which might become bouldering and/or cycling. I also enjoy listening to music (from classical music to heavy metal and everything in between) and still want to learn how to sing. Besides sports, I really enjoy having a chat with my roommates during dinner or a relaxed evening on the couch. I work 2-3 days from home, so there are plenty of opportunities to catch up! I really like soccer and watching matches in company. While I like being around people, I'm very calm and also need some time alone, in fact one of the things I need during the day is meditation and I'm looking into starting practicing yoga, I also really like reading books and listening to music. I would love an environment where I can share my spare time with my roommates by doing things like watching football or tennis matches, playing table games watch movies or series together. And at the same time I would like a setting that gives everyone their own space and time to study peacefully.
