Hoi! Ik ben rustig, goedlachs en geniet van buiten zijn. In het kader van gedeeltelijk thuiswerken maar vooral om m'n kont te kunnen keren, zie ik het erg zitten om mijn kamer van 8m2 te verlaten. Bovendien ben ik op zoek naar een (semi-)werkend huis. Ik ga in mei werken bij Stichting Kinderoncologie in het Prinses Máxima Centrum omdat ik net mijn masterdiploma Biomedische Wetenschappen heb behaald. Utrecht is nu vijf jaar mijn thuis. Eigenlijk al m'n vrienden wonen in de buurt, wat ik heel fijn vind en waardoor m'n avonden lekker gevuld zijn. Verder maak ik fanatiek gebruik van mijn Indiestadpas om nieuwe artiesten te ontdekken en sport ik graag bij Olympos. Zo nu en dan probeer ik een nieuw recept uit en lach ik mezelf vol uit als blijkt dat ik daar een deegroller voor nodig had. Ach, een thermosfles komt aardig in de buurt. We doen het ermee! I’m Selma — 20 years old, part Greek and part Albanian (I’ve got both passports) and I moved to Amsterdam almost two years ago. I speak English, Albanian, Greek & Italian fluently and can understand a fair bit of Spanish and some Dutch as well. I work full-time in hospitality: I’m a tour guide at the Rijksmuseum and also do front office shifts at two hostels. Life stays busy, but I’m used to it. I’ve lived both alone and with roommates here in the city, so I know how to respect a shared space and keep things clean and easy. I’ve also dealt with the classic Dutch rental chaos — so yes, I’m fully aware of how contracts, rules, and responsibilities work. I’ve had my own flat for over a year now, but honestly? Living solo gets lonely, and it’s just not worth throwing money at. I thought having my own place in the center was the ultimate flex, but I realized it’s not really it, especially for someone like me who’s still figuring out where life will take me after these next few years I plan on spending in Amsterdam. Another big reason I’m looking to switch is to be smarter with my money — I’d rather invest in experiences that actually make me happy, like traveling or the occasional festivals. I don’t throw house parties and I don't go out much aside from events here and there. I do occasionally host friends from abroad (just a couch and good vibes — nothing disruptive). I’m clean, chill, and respectful — I believe in creating the kind of environment I’d want to live in, and I treat others the way I’d expect to be treated. Hi, my name is Ersin and I am 24 years old. My hometown is Bremen, which is located in Germany. However, my heritage traces back to Turkey, as you can assume from my name. Since September 2024, I am studying the M.Sc. in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Maastricht. As part of the second year, I will participate in an internship within Amsterdam. Due to this, I am in search for an accommodation from August 2025 until July 2026. In the past, I already gained the experience in living on my own. Therefore, I am completely self-sufficient and know how to keep everything in check within the household. I would describe myself as a tidy and organized person. I am not a smoker and don’t have pets. I am rather an outdoor person and interested in all sorts of physical activities. At the moment, I am mostly exercising at the gym. Another passion of mine is to travel and try different cuisines. In addition, I like to learn different languages and explore the culture of the country.
