Ik kom oorspronkelijk uit Zuid-Afrika. Na mijn studie in Duitsland ben ik naar Nederland gekomen voor mijn PhD-onderzoek. Ik begrijp Nederlands goed en kan het ook goed schrijven. Zelf spreken vind ik nog wat lastiger, maar ik ben het actief aan het leren. Daarnaast ben ik al geruime tijd in een stabiele en toegewijde relatie. Toch woon ik graag zelfstandig, omdat ik merk dat dit het beste werkt voor mijn onderzoek en werkzaamheden. Een rustige eigen woonruimte helpt mij om mij volledig op mijn werk te kunnen concentreren. In mijn vrije tijd breng ik graag tijd door met vrienden en ben ik graag in de natuur. Vooral een lange fietstocht langs een meer of de zee vind ik heerlijk. I have multiple hobbies, starting from any artsy-kind-of-things like: photography (my biggest love), sketching, and digital drawing (plus besides that, I still want to learn videography). Another cathegory would be dancing, gym/fitness, yoga, and swimming (I wish someone could pay me to do all of that, so I could have enough time to do it regularly, haha).
