Mijn naam is Timo en ik ben sinds kort weer op zoek naar een eigen kamer. Na een tijd gewoond te hebben in Leeuwarden voor een studie ben ik gestopt en weer terug verhuist naar Vlaardingen. Hier heb ik nu naast mijn vrijwilligerswerk bij twee jeugdorganisaties een vaste baan gevonden bij Scouting BSO Vlaardingen en doe ik een BBL studie. Doordat mijn ouders nu beide ver weg zijn verhuisd en ik nu tijdelijk ergens woon is het belangrijk dat ik mijn eigen plekje zoek. Ik ben een nette huurder, sociaal ingesteld en over het algemeen gewoon gezellig. dus met huisgenoten samen wonen is voor mij geen probleem. Het liefst voor onbepaalde tijd in de omgeving Alkmaar Beverwijk Purmerend Halfweg Zaandam Haarlem Amsterdam in verband met mijn werk daar voor ( heb ik een auto). Wat meer over mij: ik ben 52 jaar, ik heb heel lang eigen koopwoning gehad eigenlijk maar helaas vanwege persoonlijke omstandigheden eigen koopwonin verkoopt Ik werk als Teamleider in productie ik sport graag en ik beving me het liefst in de natuur, wandelend. Hey hey!  👋 Lovely meeting you here! I am Carmen and if you think I could be a good match as your new roommate, I would love to come by to have a look and chat with you :) But first things first, here's a little bit about myself 👇 Who am I and what do I do? I am Carmen, 29, originally from Austria and currently, I work as Marketing Manager at a Sales company in Houthaven (and loving it!) Initially, I moved here to study, but, eventually, I fell in love with the Netherlands and decided to stay 🤍 Where do I live now and why am I moving? Currently, I live in an apartment in Nieuw-West with one roommate, however, my rental contract was only one year, so now is the time for me to look for a new place I can call home. When am I moving? I am looking for a room from June onward but I am flexible and can also move in sooner! Am I tidy? I am Austrian, I think being organized and tidy is in our DNA 😄 But seriously, I think when sharing your living space it's important to clean up after yourself and just be considerate of one another (and have open communication!) Who else am I bringing? No one! It's just me and my 3 plants (but they are barely hanging on for dear life… so we'll see if they make it) BUT I am always buying fresh flowers (see picture as a reference 🌸) What do I do when I am not working? Generally, I am a quite quiet and relaxed person. Since my job is very demanding, I am usually tired when I get home. However, I am always up for a chat :) Weekends I either spend with friends at a nice brunch spot, go to a museum, the gym, or a nice walk, or just relax with a nice book. Am I a party girl? On a good day, I barely make it to 11.00 pm before I hit the bed 😴 but then again, if you wanna have a glass of wine in the kitchen and talk about life...say less 🍷 Some other things you should know? I don't have any pets, I don't smoke and I would like to rent a room for at least 1 year, but preferably longer if that's possible. I’m set to study Computer Science at Radboud University next year and am in search of a room in Nijmegen. Ideally, I'd love a social environment with roommates to hangout with, though I’m also open to a quieter single room or studio if it's the right fit. My rent and expenses will be directly covered by my parents, ensuring financial stability and timely payments A bit about me: I've been passionate about competitive football all my life and am eager to join the student football club at Radboud. Besides sports, I enjoy skiing, surfing, socializing, and have traveled extensively. I value cleanliness and am diligent about my responsibilities, from my studies to household chores. I’m social and enjoy unwinding with friends over a cold beer, but I also respect personal space and the importance of a good study environment.
