Hello potential landlord/roommate, I'm moving to Netherlands on 23rd of June and will be looking for a place to stay, hopefully for a long term. I work as a solutions architect on a Tech company over in Oosterdokseiland. I'm an electronic geek, love to jazz, rarely play guitar and occasionally camp/forage. I prefer Vegan foods and by extension enjoy a company of a fellow one. But I don't mind otherwise as once in a million years even I cheat out of laziness. Being subjected to smoke demolishes my health and mood. Hopefully you dont smoke, dear potential roommate.

Hi! I’m Luke, a 22 year old currently looking for housing in or around Amsterdam. I'm originally from South Africa but I did my bachelor's in the Netherlands at UCR (LAS honors college of Utrecht) and so I'm super excited to moving to Amsterdam. I’ll be starting my master’s in Climate Law (LLM) at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, so a place near there would be ideal! I’m tidy (I actually really enjoy cleaning especially dishes), responsible, and easy going. I’ve lived in student accommodation before so I'm used to living with a lot of people around me and I love the sense of community, looking out for each other and respect. Ideally I am looking for a place where I can live with housemates but have my own room. In terms of hobbies, I'm very active with my main passions being surfing, climbing, calisthenics / gym and hiking. Although I love just about anything active or in the outdoors, so the list goes on. I also love to travel and have crazy adventures, so I have quite a few stories, especially from my time living in South Africa ;) Since I'm studying Climate Law you can probably guess I am quite passionate about nature and the protecting the environment as well as a host of other social justice issues.
