Mijn naam is Lourens, ik ben 26 jaar en ik bevind mij momenteel in de masterfase van mijn studie aan de Rijksuniversiteit Groningen. Naast mijn studie werk ik al drie jaar parttime bij Univé. In mijn vrije tijd sport ik graag; ik doe aan fitness, padel, hardlopen en wielrennen. Natuurlijk ga ik af en toe een avondje weg met vrienden, maar mijn studie, werk en sport hebben de prioriteit. Daardoor heb ik een rustige en gestructureerde levensstijl. Ik ben op zoek naar een fijne plek waar ik de komende jaren met plezier kan wonen. Ik ga netjes met mijn woonruimte om en vind het belangrijk om rekening te houden met de mensen om mij heen. Ik zie mijzelf daarom als een verantwoordelijke huurder. Daarnaast staan mijn ouders garant voor de huur en kom ik, afhankelijk van de woning, in aanmerking voor huurtoeslag. Dat biedt extra financiële zekerheid.

I'm Chani, 27, and I work in quality assurance for medical technology. For the past five years I've built and run the quality systems behind medical devices , most recently as senior QA officer on an autonomous medical robot, and now as quality and risk lead at Niavicta, where I'm also co-founder. I have an M.A. in International Management, with a thesis on the adoption of autonomous medical devices that was graded with distinction, and a B.Sc. in Physiology and Psychology, cum laude. I'm originally from South Africa, where I worked in medical device regulation before moving to the Netherlands in 2023. I've been in Utrecht since then, so this would be a local move rather than a fresh start, I know the area and I'm settled here. Outside work I'm at the gym a few times a week and I walk a lot; it's how I get away from a screen. The rest of my free time mostly goes into programming , I'm usually building something, learning a new tool, or taking a system apart to see how it works. As a housemate I'm tidy, self-sufficient and easy to live alongside. I cook properly, clean up after myself, and I'm not someone who fills the house with people. I like coming home to a calm place at the end of the day. I'm not a student, which in practice means a steady income, a predictable weekday routine, and no plans to move out at the end of a semester. I'm looking for somewhere settled for the longer term , at least 1-2 years.
