Hey, Mijn naam is Margot en ik ga beginnen met de studie marine sciences aan de WUR waar ik enorm veel zin in heb. Zelf kom ik uit Enschede, dus heen en weer reizen elke dag ik voor mij geen optie. Mijn grootste hobbies zijn lezen, gamen en tv-kijken. Ook doe ik veel aan sport. Ik ben vier dagen in de week op de atletiekbaan te vinden. Daar doe ik vooral sprint. I started at the TU last year and my temporary accommodation is expiring 1st May 2025 so I am looking to join a flat. I like to cycle, hike, camp and occasional have some drinks with friends, I like to cook especially for people so I would be happy to join a cooking rota.

I am originally from Frankfurt am Main (Germany), but moved to Amsterdam last summer, to attend university. I knew right from the start, that this would be my city - the architecture, the freedom of biking, the music and yes, also the people. During my first year of uni, I was lucky to be able to live in student accommodation, where I met a lot of cool people. However, this contract is running out soon. Now, I am very much looking forward to finding a new home and maybe getting to know some nice new roommates. I am a very social person, who loves playing cards, cooking dinner together, and going for pub crawls. However, there is always a balance. Some days I spent studying, dancing to The Smiths alone in my room and going for a run to free up my head. I love exploring new parts of the city, whenever I can. In fact, I now also work as a city tour guide and get to exchange my experiences with others. Additionally, my parents support me financially and would serve as guarantors. I have their income statements ready and will be happy to provide them upon request. I don't smoke, nor do I have any pets - unless plants count. ;) Appreciate that you read this text!
