My bio I’m starting my master’s in brain and cognitive sciences at the University of Amsterdam in September 2024. I’m originally from Japan but lived in the US for four years for college. I hope to relocate to Europe to pursue a PhD or a research-related job in the long run. What am I looking for I’m looking for a quiet shared room or a studio. Start date: mid-July 2024 Type of room: shared room up to around €650 (including utilities) or a single studio up to €879 (basic rent and service costs) where housing allowance is possible. Area: Amsterdam +- 10km, including Diemen, Haarlem, Zaandam, Almere, Purmerend, Hoofddorp Other requirements: registration possible and preferably furnished Why am I a qualified tenant Housemate experience: I’ve lived with different housemates during college. I do cleaning as part of my daily routine (daily dishwashing, weekly bins, vacuuming, light cleaning) Financial situation: I’ve secured a scholarship (€1,822/month) for two years. Responsibility: I can handle rent and contracts, as I’ve gone through immigration laws in the US myself and managed bills while also living by myself. Hobbies I like to take a mindful walk, do crafts, enjoy tea, think about life :) I also enjoy visiting art museums. My friends tell me I’m an amiable person. Wij, Koen en Nina, zijn vanwege een nieuwe baan in Bunnik op zoek naar een woning in de omgeving. Momenteel wonen we in Dordrecht, maar vanwege werk en studie verwachten wij voor een langere tijd in ons toekomstige huisje (in de buurt van) Utrecht te zitten. Haii Manu hier, Heb de afgelopen jaren mogen genieten van het leventje als snowboard leraar en reisleider. Nou is toch de tijd aangekomen voor een eigen plekje en ja m'n oog is op Den Haag gevallen. Lekker dicht bij het strand waar ik graag aan het werk wil komende zomer. hoop in een huis terecht te komen waar lekker wat samen gedaan wordt. Spelletjes, voetbalkijken en samen eten want ja ik hou er enorm van om in de keuken te staan. Voor na de zomer zijn er plannen om de opleiding tot ambulancechauffeur te beginnen. Het is maar een klein inkijkje in wie ik ben maar hopelijk genoeg om de rest onder het genot van een biertje te mogen vertellen.
