I am Véronique, an English teacher in France, and looking for a room in Amsterdam for my son, Pierre, 21 years old, and a student in international finance (master 4'th year). Pierre has an internship from the 1st of July to the 31 of December in Amsterdam. He is a quiet and hard-working young man and has been living on his own for 2 years as he studies in the south of France (AIX MARSEILLE University) and we live in Normandy. I work 5 times a week in shifts (sometimes I finish in the afternoon and sometimes late in the evening). I'm a simple person, kind and respectful of others people boundaries. I don't smoke nor drink alcohol, but I don't judge who does. I'm not a party animal or a night person. I enjoy nice long walks in the park or reading a nice book. I have experience sharing an apartment with other people and cooperate with them to do house keeping tasks ( cleaning dishes, buying groceries, cooking , keep the house clean and well organized, etc).

Hello, hope you are doing well! I am looking for a place to rent until the end of July 2026 as I will begin my Master's in Artificial Intelligence at UvA in September 2024. I am a motivated 3rd-year Data Science student at the TU/e and TiU, passing all of my courses with high grades. Furthermore, my commitment to self-development allows me to be on track to obtain the cum laude honor on my diploma. In my professional life, I am highly ambitious and this led me to seek and fulfill an internship at ASML. (I intend to take on new challenges when studying in Amsterdam). As a tenant, I am very tidy, organized as well as peaceful. And of course, I transfer every payment on time :). In my free time, I love playing chess - I’ve been competing at the national and international level since I was eight years old, which allowed me to become a medalist at multiple national championships (I also won the Dutch Student Chess Championship in 2023). Thanks to this experience, I am a chess coach which allows me to earn around 300-400 euros a month and gives me a lot of fun. Furthermore, apart from my personal income, I am also financially supported by my family and their income greatly surpasses the rent. Overall, I am a very respectful person and do not cause any disturbance, while also taking care of the place I live in. All this makes me believe that I would be a perfect fit for your apartment.
