I will be moving to the Netherlands on an Orientation Year (Zoekjaar) visa and am looking for a temporary room for 3–4 months starting September 2026 while I settle in and look for a permanent place. I am a tidy, respectful, and easy-going person. I enjoy keeping shared spaces clean, respect other people's privacy, and I'm easy to get along with. I don't smoke, and I live a quiet lifestyle. Hey toekomstige huisgenoten/verhuurder, Ik ben een derdejaars bachelorstudent (22) en ik zoek een plek in de regio Haaglanden, bij voorkeur in Den Haag of Leiden. Momenteel woon ik in een antikraakpand in Den Haag waar de sloopplannen binnenkort plaatsvinden. Daarom ben ik dringend op zoek naar een nieuwe woonplek! Een beetje over mezelf: ik kom uit Bergen op Zoom, ik hou van reizen en kunst. Een van de redenen dat ik graag in de regio Haaglanden wil blijven, is vanwege de aanwezige kunstcultuur hier. Ik heb gereisd binnen de EU, maar ook daarbuiten (Canada, Kenia). Ik ben een nette huisgenoot, ik hou van een schoon huis en woon momenteel met acht anderen (sommigen doen weinig en ik heb een hekel aan een vieze keuken :( ). Ik ben zeker niet meer in mijn feestperiode en ik zou graag huisgenoten hebben die werken of studeren zoals ik. I love to read! Last year I completed 53 books. My favorite authors are Octavia Butler and Ursula K. Le Guin. Non-fiction and mystery are my current favorite genres though. Some other hobbies of mine are piano, guitar, mountaineering, and rock climbing. I volunteer, and value empathy and kindness above all else. I travel for work, and have been to 36 countries.
