I am a friendly, quiet individual with a creative streak. I am in my first year studying Creative Media and Game Technologies at Hanze University. Originally from South Africa, I moved to Germany 5 years ago. I enjoy making home-cooked meals, and do not smoke or drink. I prefer a more tranquil and focused lifestyle. I am clean, quiet, eco-friendly, animal-friendly, and honest. I do not have a pet, although I do love animals.

Heb al wat jaartje in Utrecht gewoond en ben ik opzoek naar een nieuwe omgeving (ookal is het tijdelijk) met iets meer regelmaat en geen doordeweekse uit de hand lopende borrels. Zelf ga ik niet meer elk weekend uit, spelletjesavond is me nieuwe favoriet. Verder ben ik mijn 3e studiejaar aan het afronden (informatie en communicatie technologie) en loop alleen nog maar stages, dus daar doordeweeks druk mee. En qua sporten hou d'r van om zoveel mogelijk met lichaamsgewicht (thuis of in een park (als het beter weer is)) te doen, wil ook weer gaan hockeyen in Utrecht.

Mijn naam is Mabel en ik ben 22 jaar oud. Zojuist ben ik afgestudeerd aan de hbo-opleiding Vastgoedkunde. Volgend jaar ga ik beginnen aan de Master Real Estate Studies (RUG). Vandaar dat ik graag wil verhuizen vanuit mijn drukke studentenhuis, naar een rustigere woning. Naast mijn studie werk ik parttime bij Beterbed en jaarlijks organiseer ik de kinderspelweek in Hoogezand. In mijn vrije tijd bezoek ik het liefst musea en fotografeer ik moderne architectuur.

Unfortunately, I have to leave my current room in Nijmegen at the end of May, which is why I am looking for a new room from the beginning of June until mid/end of September. But now a few facts about me. I am 26 years old and studying biomedicine in the Master's program at the University Hospital. In my free time I like to cook or bake, and play board games with my friends. I also enjoy reading, handicrafts and go swimming. During my vacations I like to travel to different cities in Europe and take a lot of photos of the buildings and the architecture. I'm a tidy and reliable tenant who doesn't smoke. I am a quiet and clean female tenant. I always pay on time and can provide a reference from my current landlord speaking to my qualities as a tenant :) My parents will serve as my guarantors. I understand renters are receiving lots of requests for viewings given the housing crisis, but I’d really appreciate the opportunity to arrange a viewing. After studying maths at Cambridge, I’ve spent the last two years teaching in schools, and now will be starting the Mathematical Sciences MSc in Utrecht in Sep 2024. Besides learning (maths, science, philosophy, history, etc.), I really enjoy music (huge AURORA fan), videogames (like Minecraft), parkour (and some bouldering), as well as just chilling with friends. I'm not much of a party person so I spend my free time discovering Amsterdam, trying different foods with friends or just hanging out in my room watching a movie. If I say so myself, I'm a pretty chill person, definitely very clean and just generally like to keep the atmosphere around calm and peaceful. Ik ben een rustige en serieuze jongen van 19 jaar en ik zoek een kamer voor de dagen dat ik in Leiden moet zijn om er te studeren en te slapen. Momenteel reis ik vanuit Nijmegen op en neer naar Leiden voor mijn studie Taalwetenschap. In het weekend en de college-vrije periodes zal ik thuis in Nijmegen zijn. In mijn vrije tijd luister ik naar muziek en kijk ik films en series, altijd met een koptelefoon. Ik rook niet en drink geen alcohol. Ik ben wat meer op mezelf en graag alleen, ik zal dus niet of nauwelijks bezoek ontvangen. Maar een praatje is altijd gezellig. En ik hou van bordspelletjes.

Hallo, Mijn naam is Alva en ik kom uit Hamburg, Duitsland en zal 19 jaar oud zijn als ik in september aan mijn bachelor International Business begin. Op dit moment ben ik druk bezig met het maken van mijn examens op school, maar in mijn vrije tijd speel ik hockey. Ik heb ervoor gekozen om in Nederland te studeren omdat ik al verliefd was geworden op het land toen ik een uitwisselingsjaar deed in een klein dorpje vlakbij Eindhoven (De Mortel). Daar woonde ik bij een Nederlands gezin en ging naar een Nederlandse school en daarom spreek ik de taal nu vloeiend (ook al is het in de loop van de tijd misschien een beetje roestig geworden;) Ik ben een heel makkelijk en open persoon en help graag waar ik kan! Als het bijvoorbeeld gaat om schoonmaken of opruimen, ben ik zeer verantwoordelijk en betrouwbaar. Hoewel ik met andere mensen samen zou wonen, hoop ik niet alleen met huisgenoten te zijn, maar ook af te kunnen spreken met vrienden om bijvoorbeeld af en toe een kook- of filmavond te houden of gaan picknicken.
