Hi, per eind augustus ‘24 start ik de opleiding Tourism Management op de Buas. 4 uur reizen per dag vanuit Soest vind ik wel erg veel en besteed ik liever aan leukere dingen. Vandaar dat ik per medio juni-augustus op zoek ben naar een nette kamer in Breda in een huis met meerdere studenten. Ik ben een vrolijk, sociaal, positief ingesteld en ben altijd wel in voor spontane acties/uitjes. In mijn vrije tijd hockey ik in vriendinnenteam, ben zomers graag op het water te vinden (windsurfen en zeilen) en in de winter op de skies. Vind het leuk met vriendinnen te koken, spelletjes avond te houden of naar feestje te gaan. Maar een avondje filmpje kijken alleen vind ik ook af en toe wel lekker. Ik hoop vanaf september op mijn fietsje naar de Buas te kunnen fietsen.

Ik studeer aan de HKU Media in Utrecht, waar ik 3D Animatie studeer. Ik ben graag creatief bezig, in mijn vrije tijd kijk ik graag films en game ik. Ik heb graag contact met mensen en hou van op mezelf zijn. Ik ben vriendelijk, netjes en een luisterend oor.

Hey, my name is Kerrin, I´m 24 and a soon to be Master´s student from Germany looking for a place to live in Leiden or close by that ideally comes with nice people to live with and will hopefully feel like a home for the next few years. I´m currently finishing my Bachelor´s of molecular medicine in Tübingen, Germany, and will specialize in Biology and Science Communication in the future. Being interested in communication also means that I put great emphasis on a well-functioning communication in a shared flat and with people in general. It is very important to me that everyone´s needs can be talked about and are respected (including e.g. clean common spaces, quiet times, consideration of stressfull times, etc.). I´ve lived in two different shared flats and a student residence so far and loved the feeling of community and activities like cooking together, trips, or board game nights. I´m not much of a party person but will always be happy to join you for a cup of coffee or a walk on the beach. My friends describe me as empathetic, determined, well-organized, and funny and in my free time I like to be creative, spend time outside or cooking, meeting friends over a coffee, or learn a new language. Besides English and German, I´ve had fun learning Swedish and am currently getting into Spanish and Dutch. It would be great to have flatmates who could see themselves contributing to my Dutch too. Pearks of living with me would include that I can take very good care of your plants while you´re away and that I have lots of great recipes from my time working at the bakery of my favorite café. Ik ben nu ruim 20 jaar werkzaam op Schiphol en na 17 jaar onafgebroken anti-kraak te hebben gewoond op 2 verschillende locaties, respectievelijk 7 jaar in Rozenburg NH en tot op heden 10 jaar in Waverveen UT, is daar nu een einde aan gekomen en zoek ik nu met spoed, al dan niet tijdelijk, woonruimte per 1 Mei 2024. I'm Yaren, I moved to the Netherlands last year and have been working at the MPI for almost a year now, so I think it is safe to say that I have grown accustomed to the culture and the way of living here. I consider myself to be a clean, social and warm person (amidst all the rain!) :) I am a vegetarian who loves to cook (I make really mean dumplings!), bake and sing and a typical week for me is mostly working/studying but I also like going out for long walks and grabbing a couple drinks with friends. Even though I like going to parties every once in a while, I wouldn't say I'm a big party person.
