I am a motivated 3rd-year Data Science student at the TU/e and TiU, passing all of my courses with high grades. Furthermore, my commitment to self-development allows me to be on track to obtain the cum laude honor on my diploma. In my professional life, I am highly ambitious and this led me to seek and fulfill an internship at ASML. (I intend to take on new challenges when studying in Amsterdam). In my free time, I love playing chess - I’ve been competing at the national and international level since I was eight years old, which allowed me to become a medalist at multiple national championships (I also won the Dutch Student Chess Championship in 2023). Thanks to this experience, I am a chess coach which allows me to earn around 300-400 euros a month and gives me a lot of fun. Furthermore, apart from my personal income, I am also financially supported by my family and their income greatly surpasses the rent. Hoi! Ik ben Sanne en ik volg de opleiding bedrijfskunde aan de Hanzehogeschool Groningen. Momenteel zit ik in mijn derde jaar en ben ik bezig met mijn stage. Daarnaast werk ik bij Plus Kerklaan, maar momenteel alleen in het weekend vanwege mijn stage. Ik houd zeker van gezelligheid, maar ik waardeer ook mijn rustige momenten. Daarnaast ben ik behoorlijk sportief; je vindt me vaak in de sportschool en ik speel regelmatig padel of squash. En ik ben altijd in voor leuke uitjes met vrienden/vriendinnen, of het nu gaat om terrasjes bezoeken of dagjes weggaan. Het weekend plan ik het liefst helemaal vol!

Unfortunately my relationship has come to an end and I need to move out to a new place as soon as possible and would like to move to Amsterdam. Let me tell a bit more about myself: I was born and raised in the Netherlands and have studied business and innovation in Groningen and Newcastle. I love to travel and go on outdoor adventures. Last year I went hiking for 3 weeks in the Annapurna region in Nepal, this was amazing and I can really recommend it. Next to that I like to do rock climbing and am currently training for a mountain marathon. Now I may seem like someone who can't sit still or whatever but I am a actually a very calm housemate who likes to chill, experiment with cooking, listen to all sorts of music ranging from jazz to hip-hop and from indie to techno (I'll bring my hi-fi set, you'll love it). I'm always down for a drink/borrel and like to go to a festival or a bar every now and then! Apart from this I work full-time as a consultant in the IT-sector and like to work at home from time-to-time. Ah yea, I have a lot of plants, hopefully I can bring them! I’m a 19 year-old Italian student, who is looking forward to studying physics in Groningen from the next academic year so I think I will move here at the end of August. I love discovering new places but more than anything meeting people from other countries and different cultures, I'm veryy friendly and I can easily connect with everyone. I really like soccer and watching matches in company. While I like being around people, I'm very calm and also need some time alone, in fact one of the things I need during the day is meditation and I'm looking into starting practicing yoga, I also really like reading books and listening to music. I would love an environment where I can share my spare time with my roommates by doing things like watching football or tennis matches, playing table games watch movies or series together. And at the same time I would like a setting that gives everyone their own space and time to study peacefully. Last but not least, I’m a very tidy person and I like order so I will take care responsibly of my future accommodation.
