Hi! I’m Andrea, and I’m really excited about spending some time in Amsterdam and experiencing the city from within. I’ve already had the chance to live abroad, including several years in Ireland, so I’m used to moving to a new country, adapting to new environments and enjoying the experience of living somewhere different. I now work remotely in marketing, which gives me the flexibility to work from Amsterdam while continuing with my current job. I’ve visited Amsterdam several times and already have a lovely circle of friends there, so the city feels quite familiar to me. In fact, the first time I visited, I remember thinking: “One day, I’ll live here.” After having the experience of living abroad and feeling ready for a new adventure, I think that time might finally be now! I’m an easy-going, respectful and tidy person. I really enjoy having a clean and peaceful place to come back to, and I always make sure to take good care of wherever I stay. There’s a Spanish saying I really like: “A tidy home, a peaceful mind” and it’s definitely something I try to live by. I’m also happy to provide references from previous landlords or rental agencies, as well as proof of savings and employment if needed. I understand that trusting someone with your property is important, so I’m more than happy to provide any information that gives you peace of mind. Outside of work, I love travelling, discovering new places and finding cosy cafés to try different coffees. I also enjoy going for runs and exploring the city on foot, so I’m looking forward to getting to know Amsterdam beyond the typical tourist spots. Hi everyone! I'm Lola, 22 years old and from Vienna, Austria. I'll be moving to the Netherlands at the end of August to get my Masters in Crisis and Security Management at Leiden University (The Hague Campus). Ideally, I'm trying to find a room in a shared apartment/house with roommates or a small apartment/studio either in The Hague, Leiden or Delft to rent for a little more than a year starting mid-August. I'm very excited to be studying "abroad" (or away from home, I guess) again, as I find that experiencing new cultures is one of the best things a young person can do. I'm a huge fan of traveling and I got my Bachelor's degree in the United States, so I think living somewhere different in Europe for my Masters will be a cool change. I'm used to living with people, I've always grown up with siblings and spent the last four years living with 1, 2 and all the way up to 6 people, so I'd say I'm quite adaptable and know how roommate life works. As for my free time, I looove all things food and going out to eat, hanging out with my roommates, reading, going out on the weekends but also having fun nights in. I would describe myself as outgoing, responsible, independent, easygoing, and fun to be around. I'm also a very active person, I've played tennis my whole life and played college sports while in the US but generally enjoy most sports (especially volleyball and football). Hoi hoi! Ik ben Moritz, 24 jaar, een architect uit Duitsland, en ik verhuis dit komende semester naar Delft om te starten met mijn Master aan de TU Delft. Na een tijdje fulltime te hebben gewerkt (en een jaar in Kopenhagen te hebben gewoond), heb ik enorm veel zin om het studentenleven weer op te pakken. Design en architectuur spelen natuurlijk een grote rol in mijn leven, maar als ik niet aan het schetsen ben, maak ik meestal muziek (met koptelefoon, dus niemand zal er last van hebben :) ), ben ik aan het schilderen of doe ik aan sport. Ik ben op dit moment ook Nederlands aan het leren. Als huisgenoot ben ik relaxed, netjes en makkelijk in de omgang. Ik hou ervan om de gemeenschappelijke ruimtes opgeruimd te houden en geniet van een gezellige sfeer in huis - of dat nu een snelle koffie in de ochtend is of af en toe samen koken. Wij spreken allebei Nederlands op A1-A2-niveau en zijn actief bezig om onze Nederlandse taalvaardigheid verder te verbeteren. Omdat wij collega’s zijn, zoeken wij een woning met twee aparte slaapkamers, zodat ieder van ons een eigen kamer heeft. Wij werken allebei en brengen het grootste deel van de dag op ons werk door. Daarom zijn een tuin, balkon of andere buitenruimte voor ons niet belangrijk. Voor ons zijn twee aparte slaapkamers, een rustige woonomgeving en een goede bereikbaarheid van Nijkerk veel belangrijker. Inschrijving op het adres voor beide personen moet mogelijk zijn.
