Hello, hope you are doing well! I am looking for a place to rent until the end of July 2026 as I will begin my Master's in Artificial Intelligence at UvA in September 2024. I am a motivated 3rd-year Data Science student at the TU/e and TiU, passing all of my courses with high grades. Furthermore, my commitment to self-development allows me to be on track to obtain the cum laude honor on my diploma. In my professional life, I am highly ambitious and this led me to seek and fulfill an internship at ASML. (I intend to take on new challenges when studying in Amsterdam). As a tenant, I am very tidy, organized as well as peaceful. And of course, I transfer every payment on time :). In my free time, I love playing chess - I’ve been competing at the national and international level since I was eight years old, which allowed me to become a medalist at multiple national championships (I also won the Dutch Student Chess Championship in 2023). Thanks to this experience, I am a chess coach which allows me to earn around 300-400 euros a month and gives me a lot of fun. Furthermore, apart from my personal income, I am also financially supported by my family and their income greatly surpasses the rent. Overall, I am a very respectful person and do not cause any disturbance, while also taking care of the place I live in. All this makes me believe that I would be a perfect fit for your apartment.

I'm Thomas, a Canadian living in Amsterdam for just over five years now, first as a physics student at the UvA and now as a research scientist developing alkaline battery/power-to-hydrogen devices. Like many Canadians, I grew up enjoying the outdoors and playing ice hockey. The hiking isn't quite as good in Amsterdam as it was in the Rocky Mountains, and I mostly climb indoors now, but I do still get to play/coach ice hockey two nights a week and this time of year I spend many weekends trekking to our away games all over the Netherlands.

I am a 18 years old, completed high school in Cape Town last year and will be starting at DAE in Sept 2024. I have spent this last winter working as a seasonaire in Morzine, sharing a ski chalet with several other people, which I loved! After this fantastic experience, I am again looking to find shared accommodation with active housemates with similar interests in having fun, playing sports, travelling and culture... Hoiii! Ik heet Yaralisa ik ben 20 jaar oud. In 2024 ga ik op Artez studeren (opleiding muziektherapie). Ik doe muziek en speel zelfs cello, ik zoek een huis waar het niet erg is om muziek te maken en af en toe op me cello te oefenen:) Wonen met huisgenoten die ook muzikaal of kunstig zijn is een big plus:D Ik wil liever met 3 of meer huisgenoten wonen, en liever ook dichtbij het centrum. (fietsen met 6kg cello op me rug is echt niet chill haha) Ik ben half Nederlands half Palestijns, ik ben hier in 2020 verhuisd en ben sindsdien de taal nogsteeds aan het leren, opzich gaat het goed, soms schiet mijn woordenschat tekort en wissel ik ff naar engels. Naast studeren wil ik graag het studente leven ervaren, feesten, chillen, nieuwe dingen leren, muziek maken; ik ben best nieuwsgierig en sta open voor veel! Hoi! Ik ben Valesca. Op dit moment ben ik bezig met het schrijven van mijn scriptie voor de studie Communicatiewetenschap aan de Universiteit van Amsterdam. Ik studeer af in de richting Corporate communicatie. Na deze opleiding wil ik de master journalistiek aan de Rijksuniversiteit Groningen gaan volgen. Daarvoor volg ik ook nog de minor Journalistiek aan de RUG volgend jaar. Ik kom uit een redelijk groot gezin (we zijn met zijn 7en thuis), dus ik ben wel wat drukte gewend. Mijn hobby's zijn sport (fietsen en fitness), reizen en ik vind het hartstikke leuk om te bakken!

Ik ben een serieuze student die in augustus 2024 gaat beginnen aan de studie geneeskunde. Ik ben sportief en doe aan hockey en skiën. Ik heb mijn Anwärter skileraar diploma behaald.

Hoi! Ik ben Matthijs en ik ben 19 jaar oud. Aankomend studiejaar ga ik beginnen aan de bachelor sociologie in Nijmegen. Ik ben veel op de hockeyclub te vinden. Zo speel ik zelf 2 keer in de week en geef ik training aan de kleintjes onder 10 jaar. In mijn vrije tijd vind ik het heel erg leuk om te koken. Voor vrienden, familie, maar ook om mezelf te verwennen (vooral met de risotto, dat is toch wel mijn favoriet). Verder vind ik het erg gezellig om regelmatig een spelletjesavond te houden en ben ik ook altijd in voor een wandelingetje. Ik zoek een gezellig, maar ook rustig studentenhuis waarin er veel contact is tussen de huisgenoten. Denk aan samen avondeten of spelletjesavonden houden. Wel zou het fijn zijn als het huis een vrijblijvend karakter heeft. Groetjes!

During my studies, I have lived in Canada (for an exchange programme in High school), Groningen (for my bachelor) and Tokyo (doing my minor for my bachelor degree). I am a very positive person. I always have a joke to say and cheer you up. I really like playing music, rock climbing, playing squash, having movie nights. But the thing that I love the most is cooking and food.
