Ik ben een 24-jarige student aan de Hogeschool Rotterdam. Ik ben op zoek naar een Kamer/studio dichtbij Rotterdam, omdat ik momenteel bij mijn moeder in Beverwijk woon (lange reis tijd van 5 uurtjes per dag naar school). Ik ben al tien jaar in Nederland en spreek vloeiend Nederlands en vier andere talen. Ik ben sociaal, hou van muziek, lezen, en films, maar ben ook rustig en zelfstandig. In mijn vrije tijd speel ik badminton en bezoek ik de sportschool. Ik ben geïnteresseerd in mindfulness. Ik ben ook een goede kok en ik vind het leuk om voor anderen te koken. Ik ben een nette en rustige persoon die graag zijn eigen gang gaat, maar ook gezelligheid kan waarderen. Ik ben verantwoordelijk en betrouwbaar en ik ben bereid om me in te zetten voor de huishoudelijke taken.

Hallo, Mijn naam is Alva en ik kom uit Hamburg, Duitsland en zal 19 jaar oud zijn als ik in september aan mijn bachelor International Business begin. Op dit moment ben ik druk bezig met het maken van mijn examens op school, maar in mijn vrije tijd speel ik hockey. Ik heb ervoor gekozen om in Nederland te studeren omdat ik al verliefd was geworden op het land toen ik een uitwisselingsjaar deed in een klein dorpje vlakbij Eindhoven (De Mortel). Daar woonde ik bij een Nederlands gezin en ging naar een Nederlandse school en daarom spreek ik de taal nu vloeiend (ook al is het in de loop van de tijd misschien een beetje roestig geworden;) Ik ben een heel makkelijk en open persoon en help graag waar ik kan! Als het bijvoorbeeld gaat om schoonmaken of opruimen, ben ik zeer verantwoordelijk en betrouwbaar. Hoewel ik met andere mensen samen zou wonen, hoop ik niet alleen met huisgenoten te zijn, maar ook af te kunnen spreken met vrienden om bijvoorbeeld af en toe een kook- of filmavond te houden of gaan picknicken. Ik ben 27 jaar en ik werk sinds kort in het Drents Museum in Assen als conservator. Dit bevalt erg goed en daarom ben ik ook op zoek naar een woning in de buurt. In mijn vrije tijd ga ik er graag op uit! Denk aan film festivals, theater of een kledingruil. Ook houd ik ervan om thuis lekker te bakken of te koken, met vrienden te eten of lekker te relaxen. Verder doe ik aan hardlopen en yoga in mijn vrije tijd. Ik hoop dat ik iets kan vinden in Groningen!

I’m a 22-year-old student and will start my MSc degree at Erasmus in September. Currently I live in Eindhoven, where I completed my bachelor’s degree. In my time here I come from Poland, however I have lived most of my life in Ireland (13 years), before moving to the Netherlands for university. During my time in Eindhoven, I helped organise activities from my study association, I did a student team part-time and was part of a volleyball team for 3 years, so I like to keep myself busy. In Eindhoven most of my friends were Dutch and spoke Dutch to me, so I can almost fluently understand Dutch, and speaking is a work-in-progress. While I enjoy social activities, I am also an ambitious student; I completed my BSc in 3 years and will follow 2 MSc programs. I am outgoing, but also like to relax at home from time to time whether it is board games or watching a series. I am a tidy person and always clean up after myself. I enjoy cooking and know how to make a meal or two. What I value in a house is a relaxed atmosphere, where there are people to just chill with, but where I can also find some space for myself to relax. I also uploaded some relatively recent pictures which hopefully give a good impression of me :)
