Over mij: Ik ben 22 jaar, een rustig maar sociaal persoon die opzoek is naar een plekje met andere zelfstandigen of een huis waar af en toe gezamelijke activiteiten gedaan worden. Ik ben nu per direct op zoek naar een kamer in de stad om er een nieuwe studie te beginnen op de Hanze. Ik ben actief in sport, creatief bezig zijn, filosoferen, schrijven en werkend in het Forum als publieksservice en geven van workshops in het technische lab. Daarnaast ben ik netjes en opgeruimd, heb ik geen huisdieren en rook ik niet

Hey, I'm Jana, 20 years old, from Frankfurt Germany. I will start my international bachelor's degree in psychology in Leiden in September. So I'm looking for a room in Leiden/near Leiden from June/July/August on. About me: I graduated from high school last summer and decided to travel Europe. There I worked in different hostels and always shared a dorm with the other lovely volunteers. The 4 months have taught me a lot about being independent and tidying up my stuff and keeping things clean. But it helped me even more to learn to share a room with so many other people from other cultures and to live together and set boundaries as well as to accept those of others. Apart from traveling, I love going out with friends for a few drinks, dancing to house music and wine evenings on the balcony. On the other hand, I also love having really quiet evenings where we just sit together relax, chat, maybe cook and watch a movie. In my free time I go to the gym regularly. And just recently I've gotten to do yoga and Pilates a little more, which I also really enjoy. I am also a very creative person who likes to do crafts, paint or make pottery. And I also enjoy doing it with friends! About the room I would imagine a room around 15 m2 in size. But more important about the roomies. 1-3 roommates would be ideal - but I would have absolutely no problem with a larger number of roommates. Of course it would be great if the roommates were about the same age as me. Of course, I think it would be ideal if at some point as roommates you share hobbies and do things together((:

Hi, I’m Evalina, soon to be 20 years old and currently studying the bachelor communication science at the wonderful Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. I have always been a curious and open-minded person which is why after my a-levels I realized that I wanted something new and exciting in my life, so I decided to study abroad. Amsterdam as a city was the perfect match for me, because even though I don’t speak Dutch yet (but I am going to learn it with the beginning of May), everyone speaks English and since it is not very far from Germany, I am still able to visit my family regularly. For the first year of my bachelor, I was one of the lucky students to get student accommodation. I am sharing the apartment with another girl and we are both very organized, clean and tidy. But due to an age difference of 8 years she treated me rather like a “little sister” than an equal roommate. This made me realize that for my next accommodation I am not just looking for a place to stay but I am looking to find a home as I am planning on doing my masters as well in Amsterdam. In my free time I love to travel all around the world, do fun activities with my friends but also to have a chilled movie night. Regarding sports in really enjoy doing Zumba as well as tennis. You may wonder why I am the perfect roommate for you? I already have experience in living and running a household on my own. Ik heb nu een tijdelijke kamer in een actief Toko/Zaak huis (De Burcht-Simonsstraat) tot medio augustus en zoek nu een huis voor vast als HJ. Stuur me een bericht als jullie zo’n actief huis zijn! Ik studeer Technische Natuurkunde, hockey en ski, kan goed klussen, rook niet en houd van borrelen, spelletjes, gamen en films kijken. Ik ben lid bij de Toko (JC Cycloon) en hockey bij Dopie.
